Now it is down to several gold spams EVERY 4 minutes. Ignore list is filled so I log out of game and (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

Why on earth have you not increased the ignore list size. This is not acceptable after 20 days. The gold spams are virtually all that /zone is about now when you can not ignore anymore.

From the zone being filled with gold sellers to the mac client crashing every 5 minutes in Cyrodill every day brings less and less reasons to pay $15 a month for that entertainment. If I could just ignore all gold sellers accounts it would be fine but more and more and more come each day. I don t report them anymore as ZOS deems its fine to spam my own mailbox with their copy pasta email. If you stopped spamming me I would report more but at 30 emails one day I had enough of reporting them.

...and now I can t even ignore them.

Delete all your old ignores, all the old accounts have been used up by ban hammer so you won't be suddenly spammed by the old names.

BTW, I use a gold spammer auto ignore add-on. There are several out there.

This is my Signature, but not really because I didn't sign it with a pen and its not my name.

Yea it should be safe to delete the first half of your ignore list. those accounts likely did not stay active more than a couple of hours before they got banned.

If you want to get rid of all gold spammers, all you have to do is leave Auridon/Stonefalls/Glenumbra.

I feel unloved, most I've had is 3 in one day. :(

I had one for each report and all of them were basically useless as they simply stated that they could not say anything about the issue due to privacy reasons. The gold seller's privacy...not that I cared I just thought the emails were a total waste of time and space and where not needed. A message in game at the time of the report would have made more sense and be more helpful... but hey...interns work for free so no complaints

    Exactly.
When i left Auridon, the spam immediately ended. No zone spam, no emails, no whispers...i did get 3 spam guild invites but that's not that annoying in a 2 week span.
Whenever i have to go back there to visit the Harborage i immediately get hit up again in the zone chat. I think they are massing on the early areas and forgot about the later ones.

    Currently playing:
    Swims-In-Sap - CP200+ - Argonian Templar

    meh just turn off zone.
There is absolutely nothing worth reading in there anyways.

My solution: I left zone chat all together! Because mmo's are suppose to be played without interaction right?

I always switch to a tab with /zone disabled.... I find it's pointless anyway (player names in /zone, playerIDs in /guild ... someone designed this to be unsociable as possible).

google SpamFilter add-on. I don't use it anymore (/zone off) but it might alleviate a little angst.

I did end up reaching my ignore limit as well and went through and removed the whole list so I could start again.

Too bad there is a brief wait between each removal. :p TAKES FOREVER.

The addons to filter the spammers are nice, until they figure out how to cheat the newest patch and then we have to wait for updates. *shrugs* So I just keep ignoring.

    Hi guys,

We just want to reiterate that combatting gold sellers and other spammers is one of our top priorities . We really work hard to make ESO a fun environment. In the meantime, please continue to report bots and gold sellers and to add them on your ignore list.

    That's not true.
Peeps announcing a Dolmen up, looking for help to kill something too tough for them solo, peeps looking to form a group for a Dungeon, peeps looking to buy or sell mats/eq/other stuff. Peeps asking advice or questions. And so on and so on.

But with those Goldspammers chain spamming ...
Nidwinqq Templar (healzzz) United Warhammer Vets
Nidwinqq RR100 Magus till the end, R.I.P. Badlands

Thank you for your response. Any chances you could increase the number of ignore spots?
