See this is a straight nerf and forcing trinity. I'd never support anything like this.

For me it’s the “I can be tanky as a wall, while holding you down and forcing my weapon down your throat, as I’m by the way healing my buddies” I have an issue with. The stand your ground role shouldn’t also include healing and damage.
I get the need to balance things, as a solo player I also have to sustain myself, but it gets ridiculous. I’m not seeing it as an issue with buffs/nerfs, but the problem being the play as you like. The identity of roles are messy, them being capable of anything and everything
I wouldn't mind if they removed cp from all PvP to strive for balance, I do think healing or damage needs tweaking regardless.
I still find myself in a BG with premades with tanky support roles a plenty as you described.
I would like if they made a solo queue for BG's so I my MMR rank will still yield meaningful combat without having to face a 4 man on discord.
In terms of solo play it is a tough thing to balance... Being overwhelmed should only have one outcome. I myself prefer solo play, especially with ball groups ruining any decent group play.
