How do they adjust the current meta?

    I did think perhaps if they reduced the costs of skills to a couple of patches a go. We could again invest more damage into our builds. This would increase damage without actually changing anything other than how we are currently forced to invest our stats...

    Reduce damage and increase costs of all the skills that still work. "Fix" a few things that weren't broken.

    More debuff counter play. Breach/Fracture, minor defile more common on regular abilities.

    Bring back ultimates by making more ignore armor like onslaught, put major defile on some like incap again. Get rid of the cast times as while very short, it makes them unuseable at times in high lag environment.

    Dots and bleeds need a slight buff across the board. Not to the OP patch level, but somewhere between now and then.

    Require synergy on group purges rather than automatic. Provides to much immunity when its just spammed and clears it from the group.

    Remove impenetrable and roll some portion into battle spirit to make bursting down easier

    Have Armor penetration modifiers deal a %, instead of flat numerical value

    I like the last 1 for sets, fracture/breach and passives . I think people sleep on running 2h maul, and maybe dont realize it outpaces swords on anything above 18-20 k armor (ie everyone)

    Removing impen is interesting as they have said they want people to take their characters to both PVE and PVP and play the same and that clearly is a big difference. Would make entry to Cyrodiil more noob friendly as well. Would have to consider CP crit reduction as well and may have to be replaced with a different function to maintain trait count.

    Make all the current methods of healing either more expensive or make them heal for less (or both)

    But add new stronger healing spells, each of which MUST have one of the following downsides
    • Must be targeted (i.e. Mend Wounds from Psijic Order, but would still cost magicka)
    • Has a pseudo-cooldown (by being an Ultimate or by costing like 50% of your magicka pool)
    • Has a cast time or channel time, so that it can be interrupted or, even if it can't be interrupted, it leaves you open to attack as you can't quickly perform other actions
    • Has a specific requirement that makes it harder to pull off in PvP, such as Blood Craze and Absorb Missile
    Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

    Honestly if the game didn't lag so badly everything I described would reward people for playing more intelligently and would result in more healing output (not less) proportional to their ability to actually play the game and communicate with teammates.

    But of course people don't want that.
    People just want it so you can't swing a dead cat without healing whichever random person is about to die.

    In terms of solo play it is a tough thing to balance... Being overwhelmed should only have one outcome. I myself prefer solo play, especially with ball groups ruining any decent group play.

    Agreed. The cp-system also needs some loving. I’m not sure I want it gone, the sense of progress would disappear. But it needs to be altered.

    I’m keeping away from BGs. I’m a free time player, who’s enjoying oneself and the environment seems too competitive for my play style.. my experience is from Cyrodiil, where the solo player absolutely should be able to sustain and survive - with skill, mind us...
