Anyone else here a creepy voice saying this (I sometimes have subtitles on and this is exactly what it said)?

I sometimes decide to work on Master Angler, and after earlier today I just need some rare fish in Reaper's March. I heard this voice while swimming in the branch of the river to the north of town, between the two bridges by the dock. But I think the relevant trigger was sunset.

And yes, the Argonian I am playing on is a vampire.

Is this from some known quest or NPC or is it new? Has anyone else heard it?

    OK, just swam by the same spot again, same thing, so I guess that's the trigger, with the subtitles labeling the speaker as "Shadowy Voice".

    Have I missed that all these years or is it new?

    Edit: Hmm, OK, so the full message is, "Greenhill has been lost to us. Stay where you are and remain our eyes and ears. Our mortal hands will reach out to you soon. Remain faithful dark sister."

    It happens when Marasadra walks over to a lion statue and kneels before it, which glows reds as it speaks. So it isn't a message for my character. Marasadra is the dark sister, and the reference to Greenhill (a nearby village) seems to be tied the the Vestige's defeat of Dar-M'athra shades (a variety of Dro-M'athra) and the Stonefire cultists under the command of Balras Arenim in the quest On The Doortep.

    Oh well, just some flavor I'd missed before. Nothing new :neutral:

    Never experienced it on my Vampy alt. So... I am guessing... it might be something new?

    It would be interesting if its a hint for stories to come with the "Dark Heart of Skyrim"?
