I'm at 344 Cp. I've done a 3 mil dummy and only top out at 12500 dps. I'm a magsorc. 2 pets. False God, mother's sorrow, and grothdar.

    If you're asking a question....

    Light attack in between every single ability. You'll double that DPS pretty quickly.

    Weapons should be gold, everything else can be purple.

    Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.

    I have done it 6 times and it varies from 10500 to 12500. Maybe cause of my Cp being low

    Are you trying to animation cancel too quickly?

    I could be wrong but you should be canceling your light attack with your skill and not the other way around. That's what I do anyway.

    Lol. I thought that. I switched from 2 pets to all skill and one pet and went from 12500 to 10500. As soon as I get back on I'll adjust and try again. Thanks for everyone's help.

    @Zach2322 is right, it's Light Attack -> Skill, not Skill -> Light Attack. You're cancelling the light attack with the skill, a skill can't be cancelled by a light attack.

    If you're an aussie try slowing it down a tad. Lag plays havoc with ani-cancelling. Go too quick, and everything just falls apart.

    with a pet sorc build running 2 pets you'd really want to grab necropotence instead of false gods to stack max magicka and look into getting illambris monster set.

    pretty much look into alcasts pet sorc build and it sets you into the right direction

    Shouldn't be that low based on cp alone. With good gear. Maybe you don't have good enchants or invested in to too much mag regen as well. (Also, definitely rotation)

    Remember, mag dps has access to 300 mag/s via magicka steal, it's almost esential and mag dps as a whole is balanced around this debuff, so if you don't use it, you're probably heavy attacking too much or using too many sustain glyphs.

    You should get someone to cast Elemental Drain for you so you don't waste time during your rotation, but you still get Major Breach and Magicka Steal. If you're solo, you can use the other morph and than swap it off your bar so you can at least get the Magicka Steal and it will rebuff for you while you do damage. Just keep in mind your missing 5k pen, so with it, your dps would be even higher and sustain too, since you'd kill the 3m dummy quicker with the pool you have.

    It's just better to find a raid dummy honestly.

    With the gear you having (fg+ms) you should be easily at 20k+ even on low cp. Light weaving is LA > skill, you hit LA first and skill right after.

    One common mistake that people try to do their rotation too fast, you have the global cooldown of 1 second between skills. If you're on PC, try with this addon: https://esoui.com/downloads/info2373-CombatMetronomeGCDTracker.html, it will show you when you can use the next skill. Hit LA>skill then wait until the bar shrinks down to red and only then hit next LA>skill.

    Doesnt Unstable Wall proc the explosion when recast... Animation wise it certainly does... I shall test it on a dummy this eve.

    The issue with the raid dummy for someone doing 12,500 dps, is its health is prohibitively high. Spending 10 minutes burning down a dummy isnt my idea of fun. Spending a minute or two on a 3m, that is a more palatable way to learn, then you can move up.

    The 3m and the 6m also have far more realistic health pools, someone around CP300 doing 12,500 dps, is unlikely to be doing the content to encounter bosses with raid dummy health pools, especially on their own.

    EDIT... My rudimentary maths shows that with 12,500 dps it would take about 30 minutes to burn down a trial dummy!

    With your gear you could literally pull 20k dps by spamming light attacks, wall of elements and letting the 2 pets do their thing.
    With a proper rotation and the current gear you have, you can pull 30k on a 3 mil easily.
    First things id check before you go out there and learn a rotation and light attack weaving is, if you golded out your weapons, its really important to gold out weapons, armor isnt as important.
    Use elemental drain on the dummy it gives you sustain and 5280 penetration, and also use spell power pots, or if you dont have money for them use cheap potions that return magicka on use, double bar inner light for spell-crit and use degeneration for spellpower.

    I mean, with that amount of information you've provided, there is a variety of things that could be going wrong. What is your skillbar setup, fire or lightning staffs, cp distribution, mundus stone, gear traits (weapons and jewelry too), ect? Post a parse and gear setup, people can tell you what you need to improve upon. Don't just say "Hey, I only do 12.5k, why is that?" Give us details and we will help you get better.

    I'll post everything u are asking for. I know my gear traits are mostly wrong. I have to save up transmute Crystals. I also switched back to Soria and necrop.

    Yeah! With the lag that the Oceanic region experiences, I frequently lose the rhythm and end up button massaging my rotation. In dungeon runs DPS ranging anywhere from 10k to 30k lol.

    send a request to join what a mess guild, we have builds and can help you with your dps. it can be anything from enchants to traits to abilities etc causing your lack of dps.

    It does proc the explosion but you still lose the 11th tick if recast it after 9 seconds (unstable wall has 11 normal ticks that are from second 0 to 10 and in addition explosion when ends at second 10)

    If you're playing through steam than press f12 for screens hotel
    Or old fashioned way print button on keyboard than paste on paint
    Then use imgur or any similar site to paste img here
