Just to be sure I'm not missing something -- it makes sense to wear full plate armor at the beginning (before you put points into armor) right? More protection and no bonuses....

Shimond✭✭✭✭Correct, there is no downside to heavy armor if you're not putting any points into any passives.
The only thing is if you intend to have passives in a different type later, you'll want to wear that type to skill it up.Edited by Shimond on April 16, 2014 8:29PM0 -

Hawke✭✭✭✭Yep, mixing it the best way to go in the beginning. Besides, if you wear 5 heavy and a light and medium, you are going to be overcharging or close to it, your armor.0
