Necromancer is cool, dragon fights are decent, new dungeons are ok. Everything else is thoroughly uninteresting, especially the quest DLC which gets 2 thumbs down.

Ugh...the whole thing was just..overdone? Kinda like when you find a product you like and then agree to subscribe to their newsletter and they send you 5-6 emails a day. Yes, I wanted more info but not THIS much.

I'm just so sick of khajits and dragons at this point. It's primarily my fault as I did spend a lot of time playing the events but, still, these DLCs seemed to be far more obsessively focused on the main plot than the others.

And, for the love of God, please tone down the thick Russian accents and "this one..." stuff.

OP, year of the Dragon Cats

On that note, I really appreciate the charity #SlayDragonsSaveCats that Zeni created, which as of this posting we are at $190,612 / $200,000 raised. https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/slaydragonssavecats

    Pretty cool.

I wasn't really talking about dungeons. You can complete those on normal in an hour so it's hardly a chore. But completing Elsweyr when I'm short on time and I don't like speedrunning just to get up to speed with a story is something I don't want to do. Still, I ventured into Southern Elsweyr just as I did with Northern just to get the tickets.

And the second part of my complaint was something entirely different. I prefer smaller stories, like the ones I mentiond. You don't really have to save the world every year to keep things interesting.

The elsweyr stories are not that complex.
I started new on NA 3 weeks ago (on EU I am very advanced already), my first quest was the 1st of the 2 parts of the south elsweyr main quest. I did this to get the nice shining red pellitine dye as reward.
Then did the north elsweyr quest to get the hall of the lunar champion.
If I remember well, each story took less than 2 hours. The stories are far less complex that the prophet main quest.

I rarely do vet dungeons and have done none of the elsweyr dungeons yet, nevertheless I like both extensions.

    I play them daily atm.

    - dailies in NE drop shimmering sand (reward, deconstructable gear). I either sell it (29k for 10), or craft and sell furniture. Like this (together with some other sales) I currently earn approx. a million each week.

    - dailies in SE drop dragonguard motifs I sell for 50k each (xbox EU, on NA 40k), and the reward chest in Tideholm adds dragon blood/bile and some other stuff

    - now and then a dragon just for entertainment. Using rapid manoever (fast riding skill from cyro) I reach them quickly even with low level toons.

    - the main and sidestories were not too complex, nice new content, but not as exhausting as the prophet main quest.

    - Hall of the lunar champion wing "Hall of Colossus" is one of my favourite "houses" because of the ability to reach the lake down the cliff

    - Moonsugar meadow my favourite house in general as I am completely free to design whatever I like, as it is just a region, not a house. In contrast to the other "region", the coldharbour one, this one looks good.

    - the red glossy pellitine dye is awsome. Even high elf leather trowsers look shiny with it (reward for part 1/2 of SE main quest).

I do not like of course the frequent crashes using wayshrines (especially from Rimmen to Stitches), but got used to that before on my dailies in Alinor, Summerset.

So overall I really enjoyed the extensions and think the money I spent (DLC and moonsugar meadow) was a good investment.

Where's the "What's Elsweyr?" option for those completely indifferent to DLC?

    Hi!
I like all the new things which comes with the year of the dragon... but i dislike as much as i can the nerfs it came also...

Hope the next year will be the YEAR OF THE BUFF :) and new item like amulet which focus ur class on one of 3 skill trees and that would make builds more interesting! :) and would also make some classes even more hybrid-able :)

ahhh, guys, I woke up to like 50 emails from this post, I'm seeing this as being a bit necromancy, I know I made mistakes and if you actually read the post you would have realised why there isn't another option...
