I hate how one 30 day campaign is full of super zergs and really bad performance and the rest are empty most the time. I think people are scared to be in a group with less then 20 people.

@Davadin That's my question I've asked and either I get no reply or the better mmo really isn't better.

I'd really like to know what this other mmo is so I can do some research into it. I've seen a few that are upcoming that have potential.

pc na kaal hits 3 bars during primetime all the time, and its just as bad with the trial scene trials guilds are folding all over the place from players fading out too fast. Its all a sign the games dying if we accept it or not, though i do believe if zos cared about eso and fixed all the problems people would come back in droves

PvP is a mess. The stats balance, healing, buff stacking, damage, etc, combined with a glitchy feeling combat system where you light weave and cancel animations while lagging. The core of the game is broken and PvP gameplay is just a bit silly.

At least in PvE, you can pretend it's not.

Online game pretty much dies when no one logs in anymore...

Whatever fixes are coming, may be too little too late...

Since last patch BG works fine (PC EU) - zero endless loading screen. And I play like 5 per day.

Cyro in day time ia empty - nothing new. The only thing which bothers me is that below 50 cyro is empty on prime time - a huge change since 2018. Maybe dolmen grind became so common thing that people dont even bother to do something till 50.

I love this game but performance this patch is unacceptable. There's a reason you see less and less people playing every day and just waiting until things improve.

I wouldn’t say it’s on life support. I think higher MMR players just have to wait longer for BG queues because the better you get the less populated your specific tier is. If you’re a god mode PvPer then it will take longer to find a BG with other god mode players. My BG queue is anywhere from 5-15 mins. I consider myself pretty good but not elite. As far as IC sewers yeah they’re pretty dead but I was running around in Cyro all day Wednesday and it was far from dead. Everyone exaggerates on the forums

Except about the unpopularity of IC, that has never been exaggerated. It shows just what happens when you mix PvE with PvP, and hopefully that experiment will never be repeated.

Of course, the best way of ensuring a full Cyrodiil would be to create a Pacifist Campaign in which PvP was disabled, but PvPers would rather have a dead Cyrodiil than that  !

I really just don't see this lack of players in Cyrodiil to be honest (PC/NA Kaalgrontiid). During prime time there's usually all manner and size of battle going on. Are there slow periods for each alliance? Absolutely. And each opposing alliance will take advantage of those slow times to grab enemy scrolls and gate them. But that's the flow of human beings, not the game. People don't game 24/7. They game when they have down time. If you port into Kaalgrontiid during prime time hours on weekends It's mass hysteria.

As to Cyro being nothing but zergs...it's RvR. A realm is a zerg. An army is a zerg. If anything, smaller break out fights SHOULD be the exception in Cyro, not the other way 'round. Thankfully they are. Uncle Sheo knows all we need is more cheese fighting in resource towers or LOS around rocks. :eyeroll:

I will agree tho, that IC is generally empty except for events. It's odd too, because there are so many amazing opportunities and settings in IC that would make for great mid - small size combats, you would think mid-sized groups would love it. But really, I guess there aren't great rewards in IC. Maybe if you could hold some sort of Emp title? Or there were daily combat quests, or perks that carried over to Cyro or PvE land people would go? I dunno. It would be nice to see more people there tho.

In my guild and circle of friends on PS4 NA we are all waiting to see if the patch next week fixes the constant crashes.
If not it will be RIP ESO.

Yep haven't logged in for the last 3+ weeks, it's just not worth it knowing I'll crash as soon as I get close to any fight involving more than 4 people.

There is Crowfall and Camelot Unchained, two MMOs which have a PVP focus, but both are still essentially vaporware, and if/when they are released, who knows whether they will actually be any good.

Personally, I think you want actual skill based, competitive play against other people, you will be hard pressed to get that in a MMO framework.

speaking of campaign, i just remember i saw the "non faction lock standard campaign" on the list.

it's completely empty. been empty for months since its conceived.

where are those people who hated Alliance Locked and BEGGED ZOS to create a lock-free campaign?

In the campaign with actual players in it, because there aren't enough players left for two active campaigns.

Isn't that the definition of dying? There is barely enough population to support one campaign on PC-NA...that means very few people are playing compared to a year or more ago......is a good enough example for dying for me.

It's not just PVP. It's the game in general. We lost a majority of our endgame trial teams with this last patch, which are also borderline unplayable. They've lost all interest in playing anymore, with the bi-polar changes that have been made to the game, constant bugs, blue screens every five seconds, broken voice chat, and no real idea of when any of it will actually get fixed.

I guess the casual questers/rpers will keep the servers going, cause what's left of us are looking for other games. That sucks after investing 4+ years into these characters.

It had a poor launch, after the other campaigns already started, and if you wanted to home it, you had to abandon and pay 100K -150K AP, I cant recall what I paid. THey should of just started all campaigns at the same time, with no penalty to home the new one.

The population isn't going to miraculously reappear either. It took years for the population to dwindle to this level. Most times we only get one good chance to make an impression on players. Why would they return...
