Unsubbing - due to constant spam from gold sellers

    I find the gold spammers to be an annoyance, but not one that I would unsub over. I try to report/ignore all that I see in the chat.

    I've never received a guild invite or email.....until this morning. I had only 2 emails, not that big a deal, but what annoyed me more than spam mail was the fact the the F1 report player didn't seem to be working. At least, I didn't get an email back from CS or any other sort of in game acknowledgement that my report went through.

    I personally think it's a little far fetched to say that spammers are RUINING the game, when there are many other game issues folks are dealing with. Progression blocking broken/bugged quests, or how about the complete and utter lack of customer support for most of the player base?

    But yeah. Gold spammers are annoying as heck, and I hope Zenimax can get that under control.

    This except the asia part, that's kinda mean imo. But yeah ban all these people perma, as I said before the sellers/spammers need to go bye bye.

    It becomes an issue when people use the same information for various accounts (email, bank, etc), and although that is more the fault of the person, I think Zenimax should have foreseen this security risk and not made UserIDs public.

    Yeah I cannot help but agree with you on this, hopefully this will be changed in a future patch to character name only.

    Or, just don't have us log in with our UserID.

    Yea... no. I'm not going to install third party stuff. This is up to Zenimax to fix. And this is a worse issue than game bugs.

    I don't believe that these botters/spammers are getting their accounts legitimately and is pretty much proof that this game's security is very lacking. This is their game and they have pretty much lost control of it.
