Kittytravel✭✭✭✭✭No (please give reason)Getting a DLC dungeon in a RNG group currently can get pretty rough. Getting any vet dungeon (yes even base-game easier ones) can be just as rough and if it's a DLC Vet even rougher.
I don't want to imagine what will happen when I get into a 12 man RNG trial group with 2 fake tanks one fake healer and 6 low DPS. I'm not all that relatively good at the game myself (I don't push hardmode content, perfected gear etc) but I know how poorly done their matchmaking system is.
I'd vote yes if it came with the condition that they added some sort of testing ground quest that required completion to unlock the trial group finding feature or alternatively simply required a one-time completion of the trial they are queuing for.2 -

One of the major reasons that trials can be more challenging content is that ZOS doesn't have to balance for 12 random players thrown together with no communication beforehand beyond picking a role in groupfinder.2 -

Group finder is currently unable to put 4 players together for a dungeon. It can’t match up people for BGs in any coherent way. And you’d like to add some additional complications to mess things up more.
The current method of asking in zone chat is simple, fast, effective and gives the leader the opportunity to select players and manage the group in a quite sophisticated manner. None of which would be improved by having the group finder do it instead.
Players who want to do trials usually know where to go to find groups. One of the really nice things about the Witches Festival was the number of guildies who ran their first trials and the number who did a trial for the first time and really enjoyed it. I don’t think any of that would be enhanced by involving the group finder.1 -

That excludes all the solo players out there who don't want to socialize in guilds and have no real interest in endgame content, but do want to experience the normal group stuff. For vet trials, I completely agree with you, but normal? Should be PUGgable, I think.
Granted, PUGs can go either way (had a fake tank just today in normal Lair of Maarselok, which made this harder than it should have been, but we still pulled through without wiping or anything), but even in the vet vanilla dungeons I haven't had any really bad experiences so far, including hardmode, and I almost always PUG. Besides, after 5 years ZOS still can't write operable code that functions for simply grouping 4 people...let alone 12. Such an endeavor would be utter chaos. Lets be honest. Normal trials are often easier then vet DLC dungeons. I would put certain fights like Vault Protector in a random as probably harder than most any normal trial. Nothing you can do to save someone that runs into lasers. Only 4 players, and adds are lethal, and pile on.
They would just make each trial have Two tank / Two heals / 8 DPS for random que.3 -
