Its not against any rules to do that. ZoS isn't doing anything about it because there's nothing for them to do. Spies/traitors are a part of war.

Im pretty sure the definition of "exploit" in "using game mechanics in a way not intended by the game" makes them able to do whatever they want. Killing spies and traitors, and even just barring them from access is also "part of war." We don't have that, so its usually up to the game designers, GMs, customer service to handle.

Stop trying to call this griefing. It's not. Learn to grab the scrolls first.

Sounds like you've never actually fought to take a scroll from a defended keep. If you had, you'd know that stealthers can just waltz in and take it while you are still in combat. L2P, LMAO!

Surprisingly easy, believe it or not, especially after the changes to how interacting with artifacts (volendrung/scrolls) works. Play smart, don't rush in like an idiot, fight on the objective. Easy stuff that competent players actually know how to do.

Also, you really don't want to get into the specifics of scroll trolling/scroll running with me, considering that I was able to drown four scrolls in one night and trigger an entire faction into posting.

now that is a bruh moment.

I thought you would show up here..... kinda ironic that you complain about all sorts of nightblade stuff coz it's not....waaaa fair to be a nightblade.....LMAO

I wonder if you are just childish or really vindictive, either way it shows

We can agree or disagree about the behaviour mentioned in OP. PVP is meaningless but people defending the behaviour in my opinion show their true lack of integrity. It's this win at all costs attitude that erodes pvp. Its laughable to me that people think this is ok.

It's just another reason why pvp has small numbers, lots of the better players are salty trolls. PVP numbers are plummeting and this behaviour is just another nail in the coffin.

    hahaha this is too good

I wont name names but I will call you out ZOS.

There is an individual that plays on DC Kaal PC. Whilst retrieving a DC scroll this individual collected the scroll and ran it to EP gates, handing it to EP. They have done this twice that I have seen.

On another occasion they did the same thing with Volendrung, handing the hammer to EP.

It was reported that the individual again returned a DC scroll to EP gates last night.

This is severely undermining the integrity of the campaign for those that are interested in playing the campaign.

I have reported this individual for the three actions I have seen. Many players say in zone that they have also reported this individual.

What's the story zos? or isn't there one? As usual the reaction is silence because you care so little for pvp anyway, judging by the appalling performance.

Why dont you just officially come out and say that you aren't interested in policing or maintaining pvp? It's not like everyone who plays pvp doesnt know it.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

I wonder if you are the guy 🤔🤔 props if you are.

I don't know what your talking about

It works because it used to be done on daily basis. Now it is so unique people are making threads about it.

By that logic faction lock should be removed because I dont like it.

Campaign AvAvA is competitive. Competition is meaningless if there are no rules. ZOS have never established clear rules, nor have they punished violations thereof. They used AvAvA as a major selling point for the game, but have no tools to ensure it runs anywhere near smoothly, starting with performance and ending in these unfair practices that undermine the essence of a month-long competition. As with so many other aspects of the game, the only thing that matters to ZOS is that enough people log in, and enough people buy clowns. At the management level, they are way past wanting to make a decent game.

(I used to care about campaigns but left after months of underdog bonus exploitation, scroll and emp trading, cheat engine use, etc. with zero visible consequences)

There are clear rules. You take the objectives and keep them if You care about campaign scoring. If You dont then You can do whatever You want. Simple.

This arguments fall flat on its face because unlike real life, you can’t kill the spy/traitor.

And also, it’s a game, not real war.

Sure, war has traitors and spies. War also has rules. War also has consequences. But this isn’t war - this is a competition and even in those, we find honor (sportsmanship)

Every single of you who has competed on a higher level of anything will know this: the fun in competition isn’t winning, but meeting someone who pushes your abilities and knowledge.

Winning sucks when it’s decided by cheating and it empties the fun of it. For all of us.

I need either consequence or the option for all of us to create a consequence. I’m aware of the problematic in the latter, so once again we have to settle with whatever is being done by zos..

We can play with traitors and spies. But then we need an option for handling them accordingly. Or someone has to make a decision, call it downright cheating and expedite consequence.

I'm sorry, I dont see any logic in your statement. What exactly are you trying to say? You think that because I take issue with people on one faction directly aiding people on another faction that has something to do with how you view faction locks?

easy fix, remove the griefing player from the campaign, dont let them play in any campaign for the rest of said campaign, or ban the account. Griefing makes it not fun for some people to play the game and could result in those people leaving the game for good, which costs ZOS money.

I, in fact, said it was easy (perhaps the waltzing reference is old fashioned), if stealing the scroll is your objective.

Three dunks within the scroll respawn time is actually kind of impressive in a way. I actually haven't seen anyone dunk for months. DId you just get bored with it?
