Hello ZOS I think we should just admit our mistakes here not a lot of people going to continue paying subs with the quality of service we've been receiving. If you make the game Free to play (F2P) I think the odds are more in your favor since people will actually want to pay $60 for the game. Right now everyone is upset because we paid for a broken product but if we don't pay anymore then we won't be so unforgiving. Take the example from FFXIV Square apologized and made it free and now they rise again with FFXIV RR.

✭✭✭Like I said before for everyone having issues there are 1000s and 1000s who are not. Most of these issues only seem to affect a few people (access codes) and others are issues people brought on themselves (like paying for value shipping and expecting to play until the game arrives in the mail for free). This has been the smoothest launch of a MMO in recent history.9 -

Regarding the level of customer service, I have been treated better and faster than I thought I would be.
But the amount of fail in the systems is not going to command a sub real soon.
There is so much broken I can't justify the sub. It's an shame, game is amazeballs and would IMHO pose a real threat to other MMO's if stuff were not as broken as it is.

It's not been the smoothest in history. There are issues that need to be addressed. That said, you are right in that it is nowhere NEAR bad enough to be considered a bad launch. WOW was in MUCH worse shape than this for its first 3-4 months, and it went on to be the biggest MMO of all time.3 -

If you can't pay the sub then that sucks, but why should we turn the game into a marketplace just so that you can play for free?

✭I don't want it to go free to play but I am afraid it might because they released the game WAY too soon. FFXIV RR is not free to play it is thriving with a sub model. I actually kind of think they need to pull a ffxiv rr.
Apologize, admit there mistakes, pull it pack - compensate the players. Re-release it with all the progression blocking bugs fixed and etc. Give the game to those that bought it before for free (but still have to pay a sub) and give huge rewards for those that had the original product.
I hate free to play but I almost think they just gave up before it came out and expect to go free to play the communication alone and the constant progression blocking bugs are a testimate to that. i don't want to say that I don't want to believe it but this fan girl is starting to have to.4 -
MysticAura✭✭✭F2P is a bad bad idea. You end up paying more than you would for a sub. It ends up pay to win, so only the wealthy (or badly prioritized) can have the best or compete. A store for vanity items wouldn't be bad but that doesn't require F2P. Please don't go F2P.
I'm sorry to those who think having bugs 2 weeks after launch is so unacceptable. What exactly has happened to patience, reason and understanding in the world?8 -

like SWTOR...........they were sub only..lost subs...went F2P and now there are soooo many restrictions if u are F2P..Even Preferred has Restrictions that would make u want to pay for the game..thats how SWTOR has made a come back....financially.....people stupidly spending money on coins for "Cosmetics" and then people who hate the restrictions going to Sub lol...its a genious way to get subs but it is kinda greedy.................i expect that if ESO went F2P it would be the same.........tho the Free DLCs if ur a sub is kinda nicefelixgamingx1 wrote: »

Some of us are adults and understand releases like this have problems. Sure, some are nasty but this is still only the second week of actual release.
Yes, it may go F2P some-day, but that day isn't soon.

The Bank bug seems to be a lot more widespread than that... though, of course, we don't have access to hard numbers there.2 -
