    Better inventory management, e.g.:
    - add the ability to group items by their respective sets in your inventory
    - add the ability to toggle invisibility of character-inventory and bank-inventory when you deconstruct items.

I dev team that will give us their vision for combat. Instead of rubber banding changes like the dot disaster, making knee jerk reactions like the Incap fiasco or flat out lying to us saying "we don't like cast times either" and then putting cast times on ults, we want a clear map of how combat will take shape in the future. No more blind-siding the player base, Please!! Come on Zos, you gotta have a roadmap. Right???

A 180º reversal on the current trend for monetizing this game. This would include, at a MINIMUM:
    • Removing the up front cost to play the game. Games should never, ever have an up front cost if they are also heavily monetized with in-game microtransactions. This game has a free-to-play monetization structure. It needs to stop pretending it is anything else. The base game, all Chapters, and all DLC should be free. The subscription model can stay, and that should be the primary revenue stream for the game.
    • Abolish play-to-pay by eliminating cash shop exclusivity. Ethical microtransaction structures always allow players the ability to earn every item in the cash shop in game by playing the game. No exclusives, no exceptions. This above all else is the fundamental problem with how ESO is monetized and why it is so predatory. There would be a lot of work to do on this front, but two things in particular would significantly mitigate this problem. (1) Develop ways for players to earn cash shop currency by playing the actual game. This would probably be implemented through daily quests and may have a maximum cap. Cash shop currency bought with money would ignore this cap. (2) Develop an exchange for players to trade currencies. This would obviously include gold, crowns, and gems as a starting point, but could also include transmute crystals, event tickets, undaunted keys... anything, really.

An expansion of the trading system, retaining some form of guild involvement but opened up in a way that allowed it to be participated in by all players regardless of level, playstyle, or guild membership - and fully effective in its base form on all platforms i.e. without the need for addons.

Sure over the last five plus years I've requested/outlined many things for each poll option, as have many others, but ZOS tends to listen to what seems "loud" and "consistent" so persistence can pay off.

    No particular order:
    • More snowy and autumnal regions.
    • More character personalization. Hair and eye colors shouldn't be racially locked. More hair/better hair styles.
    • More skill lines, especially magicka based.
    • More magicka weapons, or at least more interesting staves. I'm tired of "some stick with a fob on the end." I dream of having a scythe, halberd, or glaive.
    • Revisited animations. Combat animations aren't very exciting or punchy. Sprint animation looks absurd. Werewolf animations want to be put out of their misery. Vampire animations make me queasy.
    • Smaller homes on large properties. I want more snowy and autumnal homes, predictably, and more furnishings to match!
    • More housing functions. Co-ownership, cultivation, day/night selectable, ambient creatures (birds, deer for larger properties, etc.) Ability to mount on large properties. (If the mount is placed as a furnishing, it could simply despawn from its position and return when you dismount.) Raised item caps.
    • More horse types. In general I feel that the mounts aren't big enough compared to the character model, but I notice this the most with horses. I want some giiiiiiant horses.
    • Going forward I never want to see another giant pauldron, tasset or hip-mounted dinner plate on an armor set I stg.
    • More UI, HUD and Video options. I want to be able to hide everything on the HUD, even the cursor (should have an auto-hide function). I want grid display in inventory. I want advanced gamma, contrast, and color filtering, for photo sensitive people.
    • Make player trade less exclusive. I don't want to see the guild system go away completely, but right now, if you want to trade with other players, an unreasonable amount of time is demanded from you. This is a climate that's been created by the trader bidding system, and also by the agreed-upon standards of players. It's not uncommon to have every trade guild you're in require 10s-of-k in gold each week from each member of the guild, only being able to pay 4 weeks in advance, and also to be booted from the guild for 7-10 days without a login, or if your 30 slots aren't full at any given time. This makes trading inaccessible to a lot of people.
    • More content for duos. Make it easier for one person and their friend to get a lot of enjoyment out of the game. Two man dungeons, and also, perhaps going forward, have story quests written to more dynamically acknowledge that two people are running the quest. In ESO, you're either playing "alone," or with a crowd.

I would like to bring NPCs to my house like in Skyrim,

And I would like to have a story more for dungeons:
    - you can repeat the quest with little reward (few gold, no skill point)
    - easy enough to be solvable (just like FG I)
    - less rewards to make sure the standard dungeon is still worth it (maybe one random item)

A new class or skill line
Revamp of skills and skill lines so that there's no more messing with abilities to balance pvp vs pve, or to try and make each class able to do each thing equally.
Possibly more morphs or more skills in the lines in general to give enough class skills that people can make different roles of a given class without taking things away from the more well used roles for that class. Like the changes to sorc skills that took options away from magsorcs to add options for stamsorcs instead of just adding stam options. Some skills could conceivably changed to better fit a few different builds, so add those as new morphs rather than change existing morphs completely to suit a new playstyle and force everyone to scramble to adjust.
It would also help the constant rebalancing of skills for pvp negatively affecting pve; add in skill morphs that are exclusively for pvp or for pve and then only change the ones relevant to the game mode you're trying to balance.

A particular part of the Elder Scrolls universe (especially a part that is low on probability of ever being developed, can include time travel, etc.)
It was a tough choice, OP, but I think I'd love to see a full-glory Winterhold, Jungled-Cyrodiil or Pyandonea, more than the rest.

I liked some of your suggestions a lot, especially the challenge mode and the underwater exploration (if it ever gets made, I hope we'll be able to visit the Castles of Glass and Coral of the Dreughs). I'd love to be able to ride a gryphon or a hippogriff, too. Also, seafaring in a boat, having naval fights would be great.
The idea of choosing which chapter prologue to do on character creation would be great too - also, please give pre-Morrowind chars their missing skill point.

Here is a bunch of other suggestions, some of which I already proposed elsewhere on the forums.
    • A II-version of all vanilla dungeons. There are too many cliffhangers and too much untapped potential in there.
    • Spellcrafting, and associated furnishing plans. Also, magical scroll crafting. (Crafted spells could also be Stamina- or Health-based.)
    • New weapons, including crossbows, spears/polearms, cestus/claws, new types of staves, one-handed scepters, a rune/talisman
    • Grenades as a new alchemical consumable that can be thrown from quickslots and has an area of effect, either positive or negative.
    • Mounted fight and jousting. I'd love to be able to fire a spell from the back of my horse.
    • New class: Artificer (with mechanical combat pets, terrain-modifying area of effect skills, and explosives).
    • A Dragonguard skill line. It's a shame it wasn't added.
    • Stealth-based PvP with associated skill line. For example, trying to exfiltrate an agent, to obtain intelligence, plant false orders, and so on, and such missions would give a slight advantage to whatever Alliance is ahead. (There are already names for spy factions: Ring of Daggers, Eyes of the Queen, Hidden Armigers.)
    • An abomination hunters faction. So that every player could have at any point one (and only one) of these three skill lines active: werewolf, hunters, vampires. There could also be a rework of vampires and werewolves and associated dailies. One could even imagine asymmetric PvP (like a prey vs hunters).
    • A merchant skill allowing to have better prices from vendors and maybe some daily gold through mails, like with the crafting mats purveyors.
    • Maybe a Four-Alliances campaign where the Empire would be involved?
    • A treason mechanics in PvP. Maybe having something to do with Boethiah and linked to a new PvP artifact?
    • More character customization. Body hair sliders, hair dyes, ... Fur paintings for werewolves.
    • Maormer as a playable race (with resistance to lightning as a perk?). (Maybe Goblins, too?)
    • Gardening and growing crops in player houses.
    • If it is still possible, rescuing some handsome shirtless person. If it is not possible anymore, kicking some Daedric Prince's enlightened fundament instead.

Interestingly, I did a suggestion thread a few days ago starting from a premise that is the exact opposite of yours: what new content could be added if the technical issues persisted and ZOS had to put most ressources on fixing the game, thus slowing down the creation of new content, and putting a halt to the release of new DLCs. It's here - yes, I just shamelessly advertised a thread of mines in your thread.

I'd have a lot more suggestions like new pets, mounts and houses, but I think they're more like minor additions.

A different type of environment to experience play in with special controls (underwater exploration, high altitude, oddity in some outer realm, etc.)
    A couple of other things:

    1. A player crafting writ board. Players can select what they want crafted from the board - select the motif, trait, level, etc. from drop-down menus for armor and weapons, or furniture items, and upload their payment. Crafters can go select items from the board, and it locks it as a quest for the crafter. Once the crafter completes and turns the item in, the payment completes like a normal crafting writ.

    2. Rajhin's Gambit. This is a "card" game of sorts. Player completes a series of quests to gain access to a skill line. The first skill is an active item for the skill bar - cast it on an NPC or monster that is killable. Once killed, the player absorbs the animus and converts it to a "card" in their collection. The player can then build decks out of these cards and battle other players in specific arenas - where the NPC/monsters are re-animated to do battle at the player's will. NPCs/monsters would have a specific number of points depending on their difficulty, and the player can build decks around a max number of points on the battlefield.
    - The player can collect up to 4 of each non-unique NPC/monster, and 1 of each unique NPC/monster.
    - This can include anything killable that isn't a player: Non-hostile citizens and vermin up to veteran trial bosses.
    - The player can even display their collection in their home in a binder, and visitors can view what they have for sale (in-game gold) or trade. Or the player can just allow others to view for bragging rights.
