Nope, I've just worked on software implementations and I understand how these types of communications work.
An important take-away to keep in mind is that most projects delivered 'On Time' according to an unyielding long lead schedule are delivered unfinished and needing to be worked on afterwards to achieve the promised goal.
Some of those unfinished projects are deemed to be 'as good as it's going to get' some time during that after-delivery period.
Promised bug-fixes fall into a subset of the above.The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.0
