✭✭✭811-1000I stopped feeling the need to check champion points or even spend them after 300. The entire system was boring and fairly useless to me. Id rather have had 25 levels where it felt like i gained something than a thousand spendable CP in which every level is meh. I thought the old TES 3 system was good and would have been good for 1T. No character levels. Everything is leveled by using it. Our skills sort of work this way...but they have always been watered down.
Dont fix stuff that isnt broken. And TES 3 had a great system than just needed tweaked for an mmo.1 -

Would you buy a whole pizza for yourself and then throw six slices directly into the trash? That's basically what you're doing. To say it's irrelevant and useless is to completely ignore one of your major sources of strength, not to mention missing out on awesome passives like Plentiful Harvest, Fortune Seeker, etc.
I mean, if you want to be weaker than someone else at the same level for no reason other than stubbornness, then go for it. Don't whine when you get your ass handed to you, though.0 -

I don’t have any strong feelings about the CP system. I DO very much appreciate how alt friendly it is and that gear caps at CP 160 (although seems weird to not just be level 50 but that is mostly only ever an issue and confusion when new) and is only ever account- and not character-bound — I absolutely loathe gear treadmills!0 -
