@myskyrim26 Same. lol I remember collecting ALL the runes, just because they were so cute and glowy in the snow! And that was how enchanting became my first discipline.

I'm in this sentence and I don't like it.
    :>

Damn, at start I was thinking enchanting was gonna be something crazy at full level, was so hype x)

    Enchanting? That sounds IMPORTANT!

JK, it is, but you only do so much of it and then bloop.

Bal Foyen, yesterday, 4 different toons dressed differently, all running the same pattern literally the same path of footsteps. If a node wasn't there they kept running, so they would pass each other as it collected a node. But all the same footsteps.

It's one thing to run as a pack, these were not. But to run exact same pattern right through one another, that was strange.

This toon was at least wearing clothes and had a real name!

Many bots which I (after making sure they are not a human) report wear nice clothes and crown store outfits, have nice names and wear monster sets/proc sets (Skoria, Maw of Infernal, Defiler etc). I think those are either bought/hacked accounts, or maybe even people who think that it's ok to bot from time to time :/

Most are stolen accounts. When you are dumb enough to pay for lvling then you tend to lose your account. Gold is sent via mail or trade but lvling requires access to accounts. Its brutal but its ppls own fault.

I always wondered how one would lose an account, other than providing the password himself or having a really shoddy mail service.

@Asardes, by providing the login credentials. There's a couple things that can happen. The user uses the same username/password on an unsecure site. The user "buys" gold, and is asked to hand over their credentials to complete the transfer. I've even seen someone "selling vMA carries," which of course requires handing over your credentials to third party.

This is of course assuming you don't allow your email to be compromised, or end up with a keylogger. At that point, if they lose control of their email, that's the game.

I love farming in Bleakrock and I am definitely not a bot, but I'm always leery of doing so in case somebody else thinks I am. I support the farm there, if they're real folks - mess up the bots run, good on you!

I know some people like to go stealth, wearing dark colors and kollopi essence, but this right here is why I always make sure I have a pet and one of my nice mounts out. If you ever see someone doing the zoomies on an Indrik and flying off down a cliff or into a river because they're bad at driving with rapids on, it's probably me.
