You do as you wish, I do as I wish.
I still have fun, and I have this old-fashioned habit of putting my money whee my mouth is, so I will keep my ESO+ for the time being, and you don't get to tell me what I should or should not do.

I have been MMOing for over 20 years. I have gone back to old fav like EQ1 off and on again many times. They still have bugs that go back to beta. You need to decide what bugs you can live with as every online game has them. ESO is a bucket load of fun to play and I will keep supporting them with my cash. I don't see any other MMO that's worth my time or money.

The better question is, how low must you value your dignity and self respect if you're still subscribing to this *** show after all these years...

Oh shut up with your snarky comments about dignity & self respect. It’s a damn video game, that’s all; one that I like playing & find immensely enjoyable as it allows me time out from horrid things I am dealing with in real life - has f-all to do with dignity & self respect, fool.

I'm amused at how smug the subscribers are.

It amuses me how smug people are who don’t even pay for the game they play, but still spend time on the forums. Lol

It amuses me how smug you are about how smug I am about how smug you are subbing.

You like that? Yeah... Boom baby.

I have never been a ESO+ suscriber and I don't understand how you can be an EU player and still keep your subscription.

I understand for the NA players but for the EU seriously. Face the reality ZOS doesn’t respect EU and laughs at us !

I agree to what you say about dignity and self respect it is after all a game we play to enjoy. On the other hand I feel that ZOS been ignoring the evergoing server problems for far to long and they are stalling a much needed investment for as long as they possibly can.

Is OP a financial advisor 🤔

Nope, just an angry kid who is going through his comments backpedalling like crazy and editing them to just show a .

Except, there is no age requirement to expressing frustration.

How is baiting someone into an argument by calling/assuming their age and behaviour beneficial to anyone, including OP?
Negative behaviour does not equate to needing to give a negative response, although that is the norm.
It's as well of a norm to ignore underlying causes for said behaviour.

On the other hand, some people know where OP is coming from. Trying to degrade him for his "privilege" to talk to people on the forums, rant or without rant, we aren't stupid. You failed at trying to oppress him for his age, take your anti-constructive criticism of that individual's integrity elsewhere.

I'm happy with my two subs, I get what I feel to be an equivalent value of entertainment dollar for the cost. The feeling would less likely be true if I were on EU though.

Inventory issue players... This is big eyeroll. They really should learn some inventory management skills and the ability to be honest with themselves. You don't need 3 personal guild banks jfc. Take an honest look at the sets and monsters, you know you won't ever use most of it. There's 3~5 great monsters for stam dps and for mag dps, 5~7 monsters healers are expected to have, and 4~7 great tanky ones. Keep the usable ones on the respective role toons and decon the rest. Yes it costed you keys to get, hard earned keys, but nobody is ever going to use 15 copies of every single monster set in each weight. I have 18 toons, each has a few BiS sets on them, there's literally zero point in keeping extra junk ones.

Same with gear, it is time to really be honest with yourself about the sets if you are having a real problem. Most sets are not great and never going to be, just decon it. There's like 7 must have sets a healer is expected to have at 810, keep the 5 absolute musts on your healer and bank the couple obscure ones. Stuff like Vanus is never going to be good for example.

There's really 5 great stam dps sets, the others are never going to be good. There's 5~9 great mag dps sets depending on your build, for example if you run pets you might keep Hist and Necropotence too. The rest are just not going to be great ever. Decon it. There's a good number of situational tank sets, yeah, but not more than 8 or 9 that will ever be good. There's room on toon's backpack for all 18 toons to have examples of BiS/meta sets for their role, food options from blue to gold, potion options, and a pvp set and still have room to mule some investment motif pages for later.

Materials. Ok worst case scenario, sub for a month and cancel the same day, you'll have the month to pack a craft bag. Then you can stay unsubbed for several months and craft from the craft bag till you need to sub for a month and cancel just to replenish a craft bag.

Things like valuable event recipes at least stack fine. Motifs, be realistic here, the dremora from dolmens is never going to be worth even storage. The ones from trials/arenas will later. Think about inventory like that: is it ever going to be used or valuable honestly. Chances are not lol. Sell stuff as you go. Holding a zillion pieces of briarheart until 6mos after Orsinium events isn't worth the storage and headaches for a few extra gold it could mayyyybe possibly sell for more, as an example.

Furniture patterns, use or sell right away. Don't hold a bajillion copies of flooded stuff like green Elsweyr patterns, or like hollowjack for example. Rare stuff like skeletal marionette parts, definitely, sell in 6 months. Trash those hundred apple bobbin parts, list those spectre masks for 1k and blow it out of storage or give to strangers out of kindness.

Jewelry, you know most is trash lol, you're never going to wear most of it. No sense in keeping a hundred jewelry pieces for garbage sets. Put purple or gold examples of BiS/meta sets on your respective toons and then there's literally zero sense storing more, especially trash sets and blue/green examples.

Cyrodill stuff. I have 1 storage coffer dedicated to siege/cyro stuff and a handful of siege on the toons I'm pvp'ing on in recent months. There's zero sense clogging up more storage with that cheap one time use stuff.

Poisons/Potions/Foods. There's room on each of 18 toons for plenty of the meta examples of each and blue food for norm/overland content. No need to clog up bank space with more, especially since it's easy to craft.

Think rationally and honestly about storage from this kind of thinking and you won't have these headaches and storage problems :) Also think honestly about your gaming time as part of the investment. Personally, I value my time for raiding/trials/adventuring with friends as top priority for me, myself. Managing a hoarded collection of junk to never use in one to three personal guild banks would be a part time job, with little or no reward, and at significant headache, all while detracting from real game time. Free yourself friends, unload that backpack <3

    -J
Longtimer since beta, the usual. 26 CP toons. ~1700cp on main account, 1000cp on 2nd account. Endgame-ish lol. Most Vets / some HM's cleared.

Which is exactly why they should just go back to a required sub model and stop this silly monetization scheme. It shouldn't even be a question now.

I don't want to see this game continue to have more and more features put behind paywalls, because that's exactly what is happening. At some point I have to ask, what is the true cost of "convenience" to the quality of the game?

Make the game free to play up to level 30, etc...and make the monthly sub cheaper than the competitors.

    Stop living in 2014, ZoS.

sorry for the late reply, but I write not so often here, prefer to actually play the game.

While others were busy writing dozends of posts about their personal frustration, I did my usuall stuff. Farm and sell, look in guildstores.
As a result I could get 3 of the 4 opal weapon styles I wanted. Not "cheap", but I still have some hundretthousand left, so it is ok.
I love the styles, have posted some screenshots in another thread.

Maybe this will encourage some certain people to play instead of waisting time with disputes in onlineboards. But then, some people prefer the disputes...
