For the record, I don't exactly agree with the OP's sentiment of "cancelling for the sake of cancelling", or in order to spite ZOS, or whatever other misguided notion of "revenge".

But as a customer, I refuse to (continue to) pay for a broken product out of principle.

Already cancelled, don't you worry. I'll be more than happy to re-sub though, once they buy more hamsters for the EU server.

I used the recent free play week to set up an additional 1500 storage slots on my account (by creating 3 fake guilds and populating them with dummy accounts), so ZOS can now take their ESO+ and shove it where the sun don't shine.

All that work for like $/Eur 12.99 or something. Like a coke and the hamburger, by micromanaging and moving loot from bank to bank clicking the accounts, you could do something more useful in life, you are actually losing money :D
Wrong. ESO+ does not give you 1500 storage slots for items. IIRC you only get an extra ~240 bank slots? Pffff.

Yes, there's the craft bag - but you can't put items in it, only materials.

I'm fine with my mats bag and bank space.

I don't have two lives on this earth to spend one on clicking mats in and out every time I need something.
    Also I don't have a hamster syndrome.

For 12 something EUR, yeah I'm fine thank you very much.
Whitest of white knights, I see.

The inventory management hell in ESO is absolutely atrocious, and ESO+ does very little to mitigate it.
Before I got my new 1500 slots, I was constantly frustrated with my bank constantly being full (and I DO still have my ESO+ active, it hasn't expired yet!).

I wasn't even storing much in the bank - a few spare sets (for PvP mostly), Cyrodiil Coldharbor sieges, consumables for writs... that about wraps it up.

Now I can put all the less-frequently-needed stuff away in the guild banks, and keep my personal bank mostly empty, so that it can ACTUALLY SERVE ITS PURPOSE for putting items in it when I'm out in the field.
And with the Inventory Insight addon, keeping track of what items are where is a complete non-issue.

    Seriously? :unamused:

You've got 200 slots per character. Another 480 in the bank. That's 680 available slots right there if you have only one character. Crafting mats are a non-issue since you have ESO+ so they just vanish into the ether. In addition, you've got double the furnishing storage space, so furnishings shouldn't be much of an issue either. Are you sure by "a few spare sets", you didn't mean twenty or thirty? Or maybe your problem was trying to store 400 siege engines? A dozen stacks of each consumable used in daily writs?

We haven't even gotten to storage chests yet, and you say you're also storing stuff in guild banks? I don't think the problem is with ESO's inventory system.

Lag and server performance issues have been around since the dawn of MMOs.

I've never seen a trash of such lvl in any mmo rpg for 11 years of playing already. Neither L2 nor WOW and other AION's etc

It's not about preaching is about showing your discontent in a way that makes a most likely small impact but still better then just grumbling about lack of service and communication.

I mean look at this statement in the "EU Server Performance - Update from Matt Firor" thread from june this year:

"Even though there is very little new information here, we definitely could be doing a better job of keeping everyone appraised of how things are going while we are in process. We will be better messengers in the future keeping everyone up to date on longer-term fixes and updates."

Ever since then all we get is damage control and silence.

Inventory in ESO has been engineered to force any daily player to subscribe for the crafting bag for any sort of QoL. I have 18 characters, all storage chests unlocked and around 18 houses, most are to store items. I also have my own guild bank of 500 slots. My account is full.

I used to get made fun of for saving infused vMA staffs. Then they became BiS. ZOS overhauls the combat system regularly in lieu of any real change, so to keep sets that are not BiS now, is a good thing to do. Rather than re-farm the same sets over and over again.

Play multiple characters. My DD has around 6 sets on him to use in given situations. PvE and PvP. ZOS has proactively not addressed items that do not stack, for this reason. Still items in the game since launch that do not stack. New sets added to the game regularly yet ZOS doubled the space on banker once, if you sub

6 chests in my house are completely filled with Jewellery. Only jewellery with little double ups. Suppose i should jsut decon them and squander more time in re-farming them? lol

Survey maps take up around 140 individual spaces. I save these until i have a good few then knock them all out by circling an area. It is the most efficient way to do this. To imply i should do them one by one is stupid and a waste of my game time.

Same as motifs. I save them until i have many then pass them through my alts rather than getting 1 motif and seeing which char needs it. My way is the most efficient to achieve this.

What about monster sets?. You think to throw away the ones you unlocked for keys?. I save mine, takes 3 characters to 170 slots each, to have my monster sets, to use and for the future. Or is it best to just spam 100's of keys when you need a shoulder?, or to re farm a dungeon many times to get a head i already had and threw away because of limited space?. What about now the OPAL shoulders are 50 keys each? LOL I keep a Divines/Impen in each weight, for each monster set, to allow for 7 or 5/2.

From playing since just after launch, it has been clear to me, ZOS have intentionally kept inventory as a massive hassle for the player so that the most will subscribe for the crafting bag.

What about the players who buy the DLC's outright. No craftbag available for purchase for them, they subscribe as well after buying the DLC's. This fact alone shows ZOS has done this on purpose.

Yes, but I am an adult and don’t give much credence to all the stupid bullsh!t posts on here about ‘Zo$ don’t care ‘bout nuttin’ but the $$$’ (so amusing) as I know that I know a little enough about computers, coding & programming to understand that sometimes these things can be complicated & take time to fix.

True, it's like they get hit personally and in a way I Think that's the case. They enjoy the game and want others to do the same and get uneasy and feel that we are a threat to something they enjoy.

Strange thing is that the reason the OP want's to take action is beacuse he likes the game and want ZOS to take players concerns seriously so they have the same startingpoint, both "Groups" care for the game.
