If ZOS changed the dates to fewer days they only did so to compensate for the extension of the Witches Festival. The whole world isn't Christian or live in the US, the world and the game move on without you and I don't see this game accommodating non-US and/or non-Christian holidays or events in scheduling its own events, I don't see why it should accommodate those who are.

The inly way you wouldnt be able to finish snow is if you've done absolutely nothing before now.

Not worried about the tickets, I'm worried about farming the style pages etc in 4 days.

If you participate in the other 4 events you already have plenty of tickets. Just think of the Undaunted event as a kind of bonus event and a chance to make up for any tickets you might lose later this year due to holiday related stuff.

It’s not just tickets. Won’t there be style pages, recipes, etc?

10AM EDT on the 14th to 10AM EDT on the 15th.

10AM EDT on the 15th to 10AM EDT on the 16th.

10AM EDT on the 16th to 10AM EDT on the 17th.

10AM EDT on the 17th to 10AM EDT on the 18th.

If it actually ends on the 17th, as another link has shown - that makes it 3 days, not even 4.

It's because the servers (and players) wont be able to handle all the problems for longer than 3 days.

Because ZoS has made it so that ticket accumulation resets at daily reset time (1am EST). Which means:
14th = 10am - 1am
15th = 1am - 1am
16th = 1am - 1am
17th = 1am - 1am
18th = 1am - 10am

It does generally require staying up late on the 17th to get the next tickets at reset or risking maintenance or some other issue preventing you from collecting those last ones.

For every ticket-earning event ever held so far, the daily rollover time for earning tickets has been at 1 AM EST or 2 AM EDT, so four 24-hour event days equal five days as far as ticket-earning capability, although the first and last days are only partial days that run from 10 AM EST to 1 AM EST (first day equals only 15 hours) and from 1 AM EST to 10 AM EST (last day equals only 9 hours but minus any server downtime for the weekly maintenance).
