The fix is... there is no "fix".
Listen, the error is fully random, sometimes it will show up, sometimes it won't.
There is nothing you can do to stop it from sometimes appearing, you just need to close and re-open the launcher until you are able to click the play button and get into the game.
It's as simple as that.

Than you get a login time out error, at least that is what happened to me...Strangely enough I was able to play around 10 hours ago before I had to go to uni.1 -

This is actually how I fixed it. Every time I got the error I just closed the launcher and opened it again. Took about 6 goes and a couple small patches but now it's all good.
Edit: actually I have to do this everytime I want to play so it's going to get annoying.
