    Plus blocking is not always effective. There are a number of attacks that blast through blocks. Tanks who simply permablock do not survive.

    And it does have a resource drain. It costs stamina.

    Another whiny PvP babythread.... balance blocking for you means you ruin tanks for BRF and DoM to name but two.

    360 degrees blocking is too much.
    I would like, if radius will be limited to ~180 with shield (via some passives) and ~120 with other weapons.
    This is definitely add some extra movement and positioning for a tanking in PVE, and nerf permablocking and 1vX builds in PVP.

    But, to be honest, i dont really care about it, not a biggest problem in the game.

    I think at this point I think I’d support a permanent forum ban for further requests to nerf tanks for the sake of PvP.

    You people do realize that PvPers also PvE to the same and sometimes at a higher tier than PvEers?
    So tired of this forum tribalism in regards to PvP vs PvE as a majority of players do both. That being said OP this is purely a L2P issue and one that can be solved a number of ways. 1st if it’s one on one, ignore them. If it’s in a zerg or ball group focus healer and DD, have someone constantly Stunning or Immobilizing the tank (if they are using immovable pots just wait until buff falls off), hard CCs work the best. Then it’s wham bam the tank is done. It takes longer to kill them yes, but those sort of tanks in the bigger scheme are pretty useless when you’re with a competent group.

    It doesn't seem like blocking is really the issue, personally I'm just tired of running in to guys that can tank/sustain forever but also deal a considerable amount of damage.

    Maul, spriggans, 51 points in to piercing, 4k weapon damage, 35k stam, minor fracture on POTL, but how about find a build with enough damage to burst down anything sitting on its backbar spamming heals

    Blocking is fine. Stun them, wear them down. If they are build for defence, they won't have enough damage, penetration, crit chance or stamina regen to kill you. Wear the tank resources down and they become a harmless sheep.

    Nerf plate armor passives, bow skills and magicka. Plz don't touch to dw, and medium armor, those are fine.

    Well I run Spinner’s and 60 in Spell Erosion Lol. Then again I also run Fossilize hehehe. Point taken.

    Agree with you buddy, my fav situation when i burst down 90% of player health, he press block and heal heal heal for eternity pressing block until comrades came and defeat me lol.
    Using skills in block shoulndt exist atleast in pvp ( or pve plebs begin to cry ) or increase cost of skills in 3+ times
    using staff should block 3-4 attack and cost for all stamina, mana classes have their bubbles already
