It won't. NA and EU are separate accounts according to the crown store. According to the web store, they're the same.

TL;DR Whatever as long as QOL continues to improve in ESO.

The only thing I worry about here is where is all of this going to end up, what is the line that is drawn. First it was sky shards, then skill lines...and now this. Pay to advance is a bit of a grey area really so it's technically not wrong nor right. I worry eventually though, the scales may tip into the pay-to-win realm, but time will tell. ZoS knows they are on a fine line in this area so they are planning their moves carefully. I really wish they would rethink the sub option, instead of ESO+ and handicapping the game experience, just make a cheaper monthly sub than the competition. At the same time, make it free-to-play up to say level 30 or something. ESO originally came out with a sub and had a bad launch but a lot has changed since then (some better, some worse)---but it's not 2014 anymore, maybe it's time to rethink the sub thing and also for those who don't. It surely would have an effect on the main focus of the game, and personally, less crown store and more game focus would be a win:win.

Anyway, with that said and being back on topic; I don't mind the pet doing something other than being cosmetic BUT it sure would be nice if things like this became available to earn in-game optionally, just as it is in the crown store. We can earn event tickets in-game OR we can buy them outright. What is the difference? IMHO the REAL monetary gain comes from keeping players in the game engaged in the actual game and not just microtransaction. Options for QOL are needed for a proper healthy MMO ecosystem, and as such, players should feel rewarded for earning something which will add to the longevity of their enjoyment.

I am suprised that the price is fair
I expected 4k crowns or something ridiculous.

I just hope that future inventory increases won't be crown store only.
Like gives us more chests or armor stands for houses. The latter would be especially cool.

until the pet, every slot buyable with crowns was buyable via in game means

this pet is another hallmark of zos' valuing micro transactions more than gameplay

Those saying the price is fair need to remember that the price is close to most DLC prices, however it is also close to other pet prices

5 slots per character. Works out to be 90 on my account, could be anywhere from 5 - 90 on yours.

I don't have a problem with it it's actually pretty unique. To me it's just a little odd, 5 spaces does not seem like all that much (such a strange number to pick) and it does not seem like a big incentive to buy it. I do really like the idea of some non-combat pets serving a purpose and or having something special to them like this one's storage capacity thing.

It's...not really necessary. You can get, like, 200 inventory spaces in game with gold. No one needs that much crap on a character.

Some of my characters beg to differ.

It's defo a test. First they start you off easy with 5 inventory slots and in a while we're all running around with pets that gather resources without slowing you down. Don't support this.

It's not gonna end well.

I am moderately negative about this. It opens a new direction, where ZOS will suck money of players. On the other hand we already have assistants, larger bank space etc. etc. If ZOS will keep it on the current level, I will be ok with this, I'm just afraid of nltheir new ideas.
