Buy it now while the text still says "account wide". Maybe if we get it now before they change the text it will apply to all servers we play on.

It won't. NA and EU are separate accounts according to the crown store. According to the web store, they're the same.

Totally not salty - but I agree with the earlier post, as to being hesitant because of the precedent it sets.

In a similar manner - I am holding out on purchasing the Dragonhold DLC due to the fact that I purchased Elsweyr for the lore & the STORY... and am now only realizing I am able to get a fraction of it from that fully-priced Chapter.

I am still hoping for a similar drop for Pellitine, as we got in Daily Rewards for Murkmire.

If we knew up-front that this year’s content would require multiple purchases, then I think I would feel differently. I had absolutely no issue buying Season Passes for Fallout 4, or multiple games like Bioshock, for instance.

The constant stringing-along - especially with the terribly-functioning state of the game - just feels... icky.

(although it KILLS me to not have all explorable zones unlocked)

The ONLY things I have purchased from the Crown Store are extra character slots, and Clockwork City.

I am suprised that the price is fair :open_mouth:
I expected 4k crowns or something ridiculous.

I just hope that future inventory increases won't be crown store only.
Like gives us more chests or armor stands for houses. The latter would be especially cool.

I'm just curious what people make of Zos adding a pet that ups your inventory space.

Do you feel it's a good idea or do you feel it's bordering on pay to win?

I love it, he is sweet 😊❤

Those saying the price is fair need to remember that the price is close to most DLC prices, however it is also close to other pet prices

5 slots per character. Works out to be 90 on my account, could be anywhere from 5 - 90 on yours.

I don't have a problem with it it's actually pretty unique. To me it's just a little odd, 5 spaces does not seem like all that much (such a strange number to pick) and it does not seem like a big incentive to buy it. I do really like the idea of some non-combat pets serving a purpose and or having something special to them like this one's storage capacity thing.

I don't use all the characters as mules but I play them and in any case they could give at least 10 and too little 5

It's...not really necessary. You can get, like, 200 inventory spaces in game with gold. No one needs that much crap on a character.

I've been a playing an MMO with a lot of hings that a player can obtain for real money:

fast mounts (they are even buffing the player's combat stats), weapons and gear (not a cosmetic thing, but best sets for current game version), fully leveled character (if you already leveled one by yourself), storylines (completion gives an analogue of ESO CPs and skillspoints, and they are vital for the end game), potions and kits (strongest! Any in-game analogue is weaker), races (some cosmetic, but other - the best for dungeon roles, DD, tank, healer), inventory slots.

Things I listed are pay to win, eh? Ok. Since that MMO has a very weak, not properly developed, unpopular PVP system... there's NOTHING TO WIN. I used to buy some things I listed. What did I win? Just nothing.

What can we win here in ESO in PVE? Just nothing! To obtain a title or other dungeon/trial reward one can just go to Craglorn and ask for it in a zone chat, and that's it - skins, pets, whatever one wants to "win" for the gold.

The only aspect of ESO that can be affected by pay to wing things is PVP. Say, you are buying a Volendrung for crowns. It is expensive, but lasts for 24 hours. Yet ZOS said: no pay to win things will appear in ESO. Five inventory slots from a pet? This is nothing. 50 slots from a pet? Oh, dear. 500 slots! Still nothing to win - it is better to pay for ESO+ and have all mats going to you ESO+ bag. When I'm on ESO+ it takes me forever to fill my 150 inventory slots.

Some of my characters beg to differ.

Carrying ten full unique sets, plus a stack of potions and a stack of food PER SET is 140 slots, leaving 60 open.

I never understood how people have trouble getting sub 50. I still don't. What are you carrying?!

Well they already tricked me into paying a subscription for a game that is buy to play. The day I drop ESO+ is the day I stop, because *** inventory space.

I am moderately negative about this. It opens a new direction, where ZOS will suck money of players. On the other hand we already have assistants, larger bank space etc. etc. If ZOS will keep it on the current level, I will be ok with this, I'm just afraid of nltheir new ideas.
I am doing my best, but I am not a native speaker, sorry.

It’s an offensive land grab by ZOS to monetise inventory space.

ZOS clearly shows that inventory limits are a deliberate game mechanic, and there’s no justification for that. Inventory management is enough of a pain in the arse already without pressurising people to pay for extra bag space. Those who do pay will only encourage ZOS to *** on players further by extending this scummy practice. Thankfully the scampig is so gratuitously butt ugly no one in their right mind would buy it.

If the solution is in the Crown Store, I’m against it.

Take a sec and analyze these two things:

Why do we use a word like, “shouldn’t” when making statements like your above post?

This is not an attack on you at all... we are ALL doing it... but just pause, and go, “what makes me feel like I shouldn’t be doing this?”

Then say to yourself / myself / ourselves - why are words like, “tricked” even entering into this discussion at all?

If we can conceptualize these crazy math builds & strategies & techniques & super-scientific causes & effects - in this phenomenal & mind-blowing game - it means we are all among the top echelon of thinking minds - which means we can answer our own questions.

    Hopefully we can act accordingly.

    Cheers. ESO <3
