So the year is coming to an end, I personally found this DLC the least enjoyable in my opinion, Dragons were cool but I still loved Summerset more just because Gryphons and nice landscapes and stuff.

Summerset was considered a Chapter I believe when it first came out. So I'm not sure it's fair to compare Southern Elsweyr to Summerset.
It would be better to compare it to Murkmire. That was the last DLC questing zone we had I believe. And while I did enjoy Murkmire, Southern Elseweyr had a much better story and more content. So I believe it compares favorably.

And forcing people to do dungeons to see the story -- without addressing the issue of people rushing through dungeons ruining the story experience -- was gross oversight.
