Hello guys, I'm returning to the game 3rd time but due to economic crisis in my country Euro prices is very high (6x pricey compare to our currency). Therefore Steam's local price is advantage for me but I have already 600cp character and don't want to start from scratch.
So I'm not talking about linking my existing account but I'm wondering if I buy the game again from Steam, login with my existing account, can I buy ESO Plus from Steam?

Square252✭✭✭Afaik you can load the game through steam and use the launch er afterwards standalone (making a shortcut directly to the exe in the eso folder under steam) should enable the login. Not a 100% sure, but Someone could verify?0 -
Lady_Linux✭✭✭✭✭i do not understand the question. you can buy eso and eso+ from steam. that's for sure.
if you buy a new eso game from steam your account will not link to your old eso game.
You may be able to link you current non steam game to steam. it's in the eso account screen if you bought it from bethesda. Then you should be able to access your game from steam and buy eso+ from steam to use with it.

G1Countdown✭✭✭✭✭Unless your account has been banned. You can reset your password thru your previous platform (PC either thru steam or zeni) and continue where you left off. If you reset your password (assuming its expired/you forgot) you can then redownload the client without paying a second/third time.0 -

You ought to be able to buy the game on steam, LINK it and then buy plus on steam. You’d have to link it though.
It works in reverse actually, which is how folks who originally purchased the game through steam (and are already linked). They buy the game from Bethesda and use Bethesda’s launcher to avoid using steam’s launcher. I have both and could buy plus through either.
Your account is your account so you don’t lose anything once you buy it.0 -

I use steam myself simply for ease of screenshot storage and time counter.0 -
