Hi guys - I am wondering if I am having reading comprehension problems.
Aren't there a ton of issues on the EU server at the moment? Or are they resolved?

Will we get another week if the Tamriel World Hamster gets sick again? This one has none of the new recipes so far and a pitiful few of the writs, despite sending out Winkworth Claws to gather skulls as often as his very advanced age permits.

Clearly Free Play week was pencilled in months ago, to immediately follow the Witches Festival, and the launch of Dragonhold on consoles, when exhausted players would take a bit of a break, thus leaving space for new freeloaders.
It reinforces the sense that ZOS have overfilled their calendar with Releases, Events and Promos, leaving almost no time for development, testing, reviewing and correcting the issues around the game. Clearly marketing trumps maintenance every time.
The Freebooter week should have coincided with a slight drop in PC player numbers as players either finished Dragonhold or took a rest after the Witches Festival. Instead it will coincide with an *** of skull seeking as players try to max out their Witches booty before the event (and possibly the server) comes crashing down.

— They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.1 -

It's typical vague wording, but new accounts only get the 500 crowns if they buy the game as well.....and all new ESO accounts created will also receive 500 crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store....

This one thinks back to last time and thinks there was perhaps a 30 day period between creating your account and being able to gift things through the store. Or something like that.
