Maintenance for the week of July 27:
• [COMPLETE] NA megaservers for maintenance – July 27, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 11:00AM EDT (15:00 UTC)
• [COMPLETE] EU megaservers for maintenance – July 27, 10:00 UTC (6:00AM EDT) - 15:00 UTC (11:00AM EDT)

Armor pots are obviously overpowered.

Well guys, we all know it. The new effects that add 5.2k spell / physical resist are obviously broken. There was clearly 0 though from the dev's regarding the balance of these potions, they offer the same resistance as major res buffs, they simply removed the named buff from the effect.
Two weeks after patch and every competitive player is using them, ZOS please adjust these resistance values.

New armor buff last the full potion duration while in the same patch they made lingering useless af by nerfing the duration instead of the heal value....

You have to give up on strong buffs to use it. Major spell/weapon power/critic and major stamina/magicka recovery. So its not THAT op to have it.

And if you still want to have those buffs you need to clear at least 3 skill slots to make room
If you want me to reply to your comment type @Ankael07 in it.

The whole alchemy system needs a rebalance. Heavily biased towards stamina and it shouldn't even possible to combine reagents and only get 15 seconds of effects.

All I have to do is give up 20% Spell Damage, 10% Spell Crit and 20% Magicka Recovery?

LOL, no thanks. And no, not "every competitive player" is using them. I can get roughly the same amount of Resistance with two mismatched monster set pieces, or one set piece and 3 Protective traits on jewelry. This is not worth giving up Spell Pots, and it sure doesn't need to be nerfed.

Yeah, let's nerf more potions. Lingering was great for dealing with some of the tougher world bosses. As it is right now, there's nothing worthwhile to use for PvE (as a werewolf anyway). Don't say major brutality, werewolves already get that.

Evil potion offers the same bonuses as alternative versions of buff shocker

I’m not really sure what the issue is here. There’s a buff. You can get it in a variety of ways, one of which is a potion. The whole point of specific buffs is they’re the same no matter how they are provided.

Players need to adapt their gear/skills/glyphs/potions set up to give them maximum uptime on their buffs.

Nope it is not the buff, it stacks.

The issues with the potions is that ppl will always use the one which has 100% uptime. I think ZoS should make all potions 14s duration.

Interesting. It grants Major Resolve/Ward which isn't supposed to stack. They should just fix this to where it doesn't.

You do get the bit where it takes 3 skill points into the Medicinal Use passive to get that 100% potion uptime?

So it’s a player’s choice to do that and they have sacrificed something else to put the skill points there.

It is an unique buff and is supposed to stack with the Major resistances. I gave feedback to ZOS about these potions being powerful several times. Maybe they will adjust them in the future, but for now it looks like they seem happy with how they work.

I used them for a while. In certain combinations these potions are powerful but mostly in 1v1 when you can be sure that you're not going to die instantly because you have no gas in the tank.

In open world PvP I still prefer resource/spell power pots becasue that additional burst of stamina or magicka can be crucial (LoS, repositioning, being able to keep the pressure etc.etc.) especially on already tanky toons those resists are barely noticeable.

I think it's to early to call for nerfs.
"We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available."
    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

Only certain classes do: cough look at DK and Warden. I mentioned it on the PTS, changing potions will benefit some classes more then others.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab

You can get mag / hp / spell res pots. And you have proven numerous times that you are not a competitive pk.

I believe you are misunderstood, these potions no longer provide the named buff, rather an additional 5.2k res that can be stacked with the named res buffs.

It is possible to make potions that offer stamina / hp / and 5.2k physical resistance. As well as mag / hp / 5.2k spell res. Other notable options are hp / spell / physical resistance, & just wait for the stam dks using hp / major vitality / physical reistance... if you want the recipes then hey, you're already on the internet.

I feel like the pots do offer crazy ability to stack defense, but without dot meta you don't need to be as tanky as you used to be.

I know I dropped from a 28k health, 9k shield, 30k resist build to something much more glass cannon style this patch and I've never been happier.
