I like the way some people are able to melt absolutely everything in a dungeon when I tank it. I don't play much DPS and would like to be that guy that drops a boss fight to just the boss in the blink of an eye.

✭✭✭✭✭i like my templar aoe wise, you got barrage, the blazing spear, ritual of retribution and sweeps that heal you and i combine that with the wall, grothdar set and overhwelming surge set... so i can do a lot of aoe damage while at the same time healing me never run out of magicka...
you can also use a shock stuff and heavy attack which does aoe damage and fills up magicka as well...Edited by Nemesis7884 on November 2, 2019 4:28AM1 -
magplar has the most aoe dmg... Second to it is magsorc. And the rest dont come close.0 -

Magic necro? Ricochet Skull, Stalking Blastbones, Boneyard, Skeletal Arcanist and Mystic Siphon, all of these do aoe so I doubt necro doesn’t come close.0 -

Mag Templar has always been good at it too, they are just rising to the top this patch because of recent combat pendulum swings
If necro skills actually worked as intended I’d say they were close. Most times you need a corpse and when you get a corpse the fight is over anyway or when you are about to use a corpse it disappears before the next fight starts.
Someone who doesn’t understand that warden beetles are directional and come with a 3 second wait/warning will tell you wardens are great at AOE.
Really though the best AOE skills were weapon skills for the longest time, not class skills. Recent nerf hammers to endless hail, caltrops, dot damage over/under tuning are the reason for all the incongruity.#FiteForYourRite Bosmer = Stealth

There is a reason why MA is dominated by sorcs
You can aggro 15 enemies and deal with all (check destruction staff abilities)
Add pets and your possibilities are even better0 -

Overwhelming is so good now.

Magicka Necro is surprisingly weak in AOE. Of course it has Colossus, the absolute best AOE ultimate in the game. But it is more a support that provides vulnerability then anything else.
