Well what u expect from random dungeons, and srsly only way to get halfway solid and fast through is to go as dd being prepared to rolldodge and tank some adds xD
and usually they dont even know or dont thank if you carry the *** outta them without flaming, and they cmplain about fake heals although they should be happy to have at least 1 dd

Why not instead of automatically wanting to kick, rather try to make it work.

Your attitude is poor, the DPS you want to kick is a human being. Treat them as such.

    Oh and need I say .. It's a game !

Just to throw in another tanks perspective, a damn good one too (esologs will confirm lol) I have pugged for dumps & chuckles before and encountered similar things to what the OP describes. Sometimes yes it's a dps issue and human or not they are the reason a dungeon isn't clearing and they have no business being in a vet dungeon.

Just a few things I've enjoyed dealing with in pugs:

Selene's Web final boss, over 30 adds up because dps is incapable of killing them even though I've chained them all into a nice pile around the boss.

Banished Cells 2 final boss, 17 daedroth up, a literal marathon of reapplying taunt because weak dps can't keep the number of them at 3.

Elden hollow 2 final boss, dps dying when Bogan jumps because blocking is a foreign concept to them, or dying because dps is so low the entire floor is on fire and he still hasn't jumped yet lol. Or dying because they don't understand that fire hurts. One time I got so sick of rezzing that I let them all stay dead and slowly whittled the thing down myself with my non existent tank damage.

Spindleclutch 2 final boss, scrub dds whining I wouldn't bring the boss up to the stairs (less room up there, it's a very stupid strategy only noobs employ) and kept him on the fire he spawns at. This guy is yelling that his damage is gonna kill the people on the Jesus crosses. He's doing literally less damage than my tank. I moved the boss on top of a Jesus guy and kept it there. Jesus guy isn't dying. Lol.

See how these are just base game dungeons? I have worse horror stories from the dlc ones. But I tend to see them through. You can explain mechs all you want but most of the time you either get ignored or get smarted off at. Then people complain about the tank shortage. Are you surprised? We exist, we just found players on our level and stick together. Stay out of the dungeon finder until you're ready for vet. Bad dds are the reason theres a tank shortage for pugs.
