So I rolled a stam dk for pve and it's pretty fun and is performing well in vet dlc content. My only issue with the spec is the fact that I have to use Standard of Might. Firstly, I have a serious problem with dealing flame damage for my ultimate as a stamina toon. It means that it doesn't get buffed by certain CP stars and is affected by spell penetration of which of course I am lacking. Secondly SoM feels meh. It's basically a destro ulti with a synergy. And a very weak synergy at that. The damage dealt buff is admittedly quite nice but not when you consider the fact that that you have to level up the base skill to 4 then invest a further skill point to get it. By contrast Necro colossus has that damage taken modifier (for everyone) in the group from base.
How I'd like to see it changed: make the damage dealt buff and damage received buff available on the base skill (that's a no-brainer). Then for the morph perhaps you can Mag dks use Shifting Standard which would have the benefits of the current SoM and also all them to reposition it which admittedly isn't a great perk but it'd probably fit in better to a ranged playstyle as fights where you'd want ranged dps generally have a lot of movement and reorientation, ( VAS+2 VCR+3). For stam dk I'd like to see perhaps a standard that deals physical/poison damage or perhaps the standard could retain its flame damage but give the entire group the increase to damage dealt/reduction to damage taken.
