How happy are you DLC dungeons were skipped for "performance improvements"?

    I haven't seen any performance improvements in any other areas yet.

    This wasn't a dungeon dlc to begin with. And i believe they actually did the software improvements they promised, it's just sh!tshow happening with the hardware atm.

    I'd be happy if they skipped producing endgame content IF the performance actually improved. I think we can all agree performance has degraded.

    Broken group finder, cyrodiil crashes, endless load screens, login queues. What performance has actually improved?

    Funny, I don't recall the improved LFG tool being actual hardware.

    Q4 was supposed to be an adventure zone. Did OP find something that claims there wont be a Q1 Dungeon pack next year and of course didnt link it?

    I'd be thrilled if the DLC dungeons were permanently removed from the Dungeon Finder tool. I am very unhappy about the Dungeon Finder having been completely disabled during this event though, I have 3 baby tanks I was hoping to level during this double-XP event by actually learning that role.

    You do not need the group finder to do dungeons. You can just group up yourself and walk or port into a dungeon. Some of the entrances to dungeons are really quite impressive.

    The group finder is/was there to help player form groups, and, later, to instigate BGs.

    The daily random dungeon feature, and its associated rewards, were put there to encourage player to group up.

    If you want your tanks to learn the ropes, you can form groups by either, joining with your friends, asking “tank lfg ...” in zone chat or joining a guild and asking guildies. You will have a ton of responses from cool players who also want their skulls and need a tank.

    Good luck and have fun

    Very true, but the extra XP boost was a massive incentive for little alts. Much better to run dungeons than, say, Alik'r dolmens.

    The real question is: Would @Aerenel be playing the dungeon if they made the hypothetical one or would they be on the forums bitching about how there weren't performance updates and they spent time making content. I'm going the latter.

    It'd not be a dungeon patch, it should've been an arena or a mini trial(We already have had dungeons with the last dlc). Instead we have a tiny zone and even more game issues.

    So now we expect arenas to be released with every zone DLC?

    I mean...
    Orsinium = arena
    Thieves Guild = trial
    Dark Brotherhood = nothing
    Clockwork City = trial
    Murkmire = arena
    Dragonhold = nothing

    Okay, maybe there's a pattern there...

    Unless ZOS recently restarted it, the activity finder was disabled on PC/EU and PC/NA to try to help with the performance issues. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6424192/#Comment_6424192

    Dark Brotherhood had a guild skill line at least. I can get over the missing arena/trial, but these lazy devs didn't even bother making a measely 6-passive Dragonguard guild skill line. Too busy nerfing everything, I suppose.

    DB had guild line passives, similar to TG that really fleshed out some missing aspects of the Justice System.

    Dragonguard could have gotten something similar but I don't know what they would have fleshed out. Dragon hunting?

    Er...yes, but we were comparing Dark Brotherhood and Dragonhold, which are the two zone DLCs that didn't have a trial or arena. DB expanded the Justice System with the Blade of Woe and guild line passives. Dragonhold did ???

    I'm just not sure what Dragonguard guild passives would look like.

    Though I do have to wonder how everyone would react if ZOS just said "Look, we didnt add as much content to Dragonhold because we were fixing groupfinder. So all y'all who want us to put a brake on content while we bug fix, put your money where your mouth is."

    I'm just not sure what Dragonguard guild passives would look like.

    Here's a hypothetical:
    Elite Hunter - Doubles alchemy reagent drops from dragons.
    Relentless Pursuit - Eliminate all Sprint costs when out-of-combat.
    Drake of Shadows - Aggression radius from hostile monsters is decreased by 50% on foot.
    Dragonslayer (4 ranks) - Deal 5/10/15/20% more damage to dragons under 25% health.
    Vigilant Guardian (4 ranks) - Take 5/10/15/20% less damage from dragons.
    Spellsword - Use your combined Weapon and Spell Damage for your light and heavy attacks with swords.
    Though I do have to wonder how everyone would react if ZOS just said "Look, we didnt add as much content to Dragonhold because we were fixing groupfinder. So all y'all who want us to put a brake on content while we bug fix, put your money where your mouth is."

    That would be a compelling and fair argument against an arena/trial. Not against a simple 6-passive skill line. It's not hard to throw together a few passive QoL improvements and dragon-specific bonuses. Dragonhold is a dumpster fire and this could've at least quenched the flames a bit.

    Plus, people would have farmed so many more Dragons to close out this "Season of the Dragon" gimmick.

    CLASS IDENTITY!

    Without dragon hold you would have new stam sorc totally not kinda like NB ability, and DK tossing rocks.

    They didn't release a trial/arena as part of the latest DLC so they can focus all their resources on improving performance. Performance hasn't improved (in fact, it's probably worse than ever), yet we still paid for a DLC without a trial/arena.
