Group finder issue

This has happened a couple of times now, I'm not sure what triggers it.
I have only seen this (I think?) on random.
The sequence of actions and events goes like this:
1. I queue for a random vet.
2. Prompt comes up (at some point) to accept the ready check. I do so.
3. "Dungeon Finder Queued" disappears from the tracker at the side, and the "Notifications" icon on my chat window lights up.
4. I open the notifications window and there's the finder ready check there even though I've accepted it. Clicking the tick or cross does absolutely nothing.
5. This stays there forever: can't queue, can't remove the notification. I have to log out and back in to clear it.
This is particularly frustrating on a DPS toon where queue waits are anything up an hour currently... or up to two hours when this happens.

✭✭Group finder is still garbage as before the patch. They said its coded from scratch and better now but the same bugs still exist. 'Someone declined' bs still happening and if someone leaves or gets kicked during the run then replacement often cant port in. They get instance full bug, porting to others doesn't work and porting to dungeon also fails.0 -

However, the original NEW problem reported above is still occurring even after this morning's patch.

✭Similar thing as OP reported happened to me yesterday night (after trying to login for ages, PC-EU).
1. Queued as a tank for a random normal on one of my under-50 characters
2. Waited almost 20 minutes (while going through a delve to pass the time, and as a tank, it takes ages to kill anything). Usually I get a group in under 2 minutes but not yesterday...
3. Finally a group came up, pressed F to accept. Nothing happened, went to Notifications and there was the button to accept or decline still there, and the timer still counting down.
4. Countdown finished, I did not get anywhere, and could not queue for anything else...
In the end I got to the delve boss, spent 5 minutes killing him because yeah, tank here, and logged off for the night.PC-EU0 -
x4livin✭✭✭The group finder button just does not work. Click it, even for a random....nothing. At one point, I grouped with another player awaiting more to want to join, she queued for a dungeon, when it came up, she got a request, I did not, it threw her into a loop of trying to join and disconnected her from the log in. She logged back in and fromt hat point, neither of us could group at all, in any way, with another player. They grouping tool on my screen said grouping, and was greyed out. When it was no longer grey, it just didn't work again. I solo'd 1 dungeon to get the dremoral plunder skull, but she was unable to even get into a dungeon as it would go into terminal load screen and boot her out of game.0 -
