Did anyone else get charged for the first month already....
The name should be changed to "The Loading Scrolls Online". Constant lag, more broken qeusts than you can count. Now cant log in, and their fix solution is.. Delete several folder n jump through a hoop n stand on your head... WTF! Went to cancel subscription... low and behold, the *** had already charged my card the 15 bucks... WTF since when do we pay for the VERY first month, what happened to our free 30 days!
Better check your credit cards n make sure, you haven't been gotten too. I'm not the only person I know this is true for.

It is an authorization hold, no different than any other MMO. They validate the credit card so that the gold sellers can't create endless accounts for spamming. I verified it was an authorization hold when I did mine, and I also verified that it drops off in 3 business days.0 -

***! It is supposed to be a Phantom charge... they charge ONE dollar to make sure its a valid card for the subscriber, then they refund that dollar w/in a designated time period. In now way are they allowed to "HOLD" my 15 bucks. Who's to say I'm going re-subscribe. Or better yet! Who the hell are they to STEAL 15 bucks out of my account when i was not supposed to be charged....1 -
Most times that's a check on your available credit. It appears on your account and then disappears a few days later until they actually charge your card. ESO is not the only subscription that will do that by the way, it's quite common. I noticed it on my card too just after I set my subscription up, now it's gone. I wouldn't worry unless it deducted from your available credit limit.0 -
The balance was most deffinately removed from my available credit. This has been almost 2 weeks now. The funds have yet to be returned.1

Yep, they charged it then. An auth hold wouldn't stay that long. You did pre-order right? The first 30-days free was only for those who pre-ordered right? If that's the case, you definitely have a valid complaint.0

Problem is MY bank places a hold or pending in black, a charge in red, and a credit in green...guess what color my charge is??? RED. So, care to explain that one? I also pre-ordered this game as well...Like I said should have gotten a few lap dances or something instead.

oh yes, i was on the early launch. yes the game came with 30 days free. Yes I have canceled my subscriptions, and yes if I have to uninstall to fix the current issue, i will not taint my computer again with this game.0

suzy0130Soul Shrivenwhat they are doing here is, i think, trying to get money from those who forget to cancel their monthly fees. since the money will be AUTOMATICALLY payed every month, if you forget to cancel it, you are just throwing that money away for nothing. I bet many will forget to cancel it(especially those who came from video games). This is why i feel so bad about this move. I feel so frustrated that i dont want to spend another penny on this game. Why cant they do it like other games?0
