i want to ask all EU players to go to support and ask for Compensation for all the Down Time We are experiencing since this ihs not just a technical issue but a case of them trying to save money on the EU server hardware and service. i believe this is unacceptable behavior from a AAA Developer. i pay for my ESO+ i am a paying costumer and i demand to be treated like one

Won’t happen. It’s in the terms and conditions that you agree to that they won’t compensate for things like this.

I was just thinking about this

They put up an event and we can not even log in

They need to compensate the times they didn't provide! :|

It's just lame what they are doing with servers now. They weren't joking when they said no subscription required. We should have listened 3 years ago lol.

Yeah, I'm waiting (but not expecting) a public statement from ZOS on what steps they intend to take to make up for the excessive downtime and problems to paying customers who aren't getting the product they pay for. If and when no such statement appears I'll have to cancel the subscription.

I think this game would have went bust if it was pay to play atm. They knew it was going to be a sh!t show down the line

Maybe. Might be some thing their lawyers would have known when writing up the terms and conditions. I’m not saying I do or don’t agree with compensation for frustrating issues, just saying it’s not gonna happen.

It is always happen. Look on your companys and yours. They are afraid of mass legal action from US citiziens - because they have to sell then. You wont see this on EU, its not legaly supported here in Germany.

The only way something is going to happen is when ppl cancel thir ESO+. I mean I haven't been using ESO+ for like 2 years and I'm doing fine - when I loot stuff I only take the things that are worth something (gold, expensive furnishing items, gear that I really need).

Ppl feed them money and in return they get *** on their head (well.. I guess there are some ppl that actually like that).

i can just talk about the local laws hear and the amount of down time is at the point that from a legal perspective in my country that i would not have to pay for the next 30 days of ESO+ just saying

Problem is, you will have no chance to win a process against companies - in all countries. The Terms are secured against this actions. The local law isnt counting on a cord, if you have an international company.

Suggest you read section 6 of the Terms of Service before beefing up your Law hammer.
    https://www.zenimax.com/legal_terms_us

    In particular
ZeniMax does not guarantee that any Services will be accessible or available at all times, in all countries and/or all geographic locations, at any given time, or that ZeniMax will continue to offer any particular Services for any particular length of time.
You agree that ZeniMax will not be liable for any interruption of the Services, delay or failure to perform, any loss of Content

Could list a few more but these pretty much cover their arses, regardless.

Any part of a TOS that's conflicting with law is automatically invalid. I've no idea if this is relevant in this case, but it's true regardless.

Just because they don't HAVE to give you compensation doesn't mean they won't. It doesn't hurt to ask, since in the past they have extended contests since EU had downtime.

It doesn't have to be a legal action, it is common courtesy.

Every sensible company would compensate after such terrible service they provided.

Excatly it doesn't hurt to ask, demanding it on the other hand won't work,

Throwing out random Laws / Abritration rulings without fully knowing how the system works seems a little desperate.

YOU (the user) have agreed to the TOS, it's purely down to ZOS whether they are feeling charitable enough to compensate the community. They don't have to ofc but one would hope they would.

I already took my compensation: stopped buying ESO+ two months ago. ;) Next time the game is on sale, I'll buy the base client and make myself a mule account, and that will be the last money from me until they pull their poop together. Or until they give some nice costume as a subscriber bonus. :p

"Customers aren't always right. But you have to treat them as if they were always right, because you want them to come back and bring you more money." - something my grandpa once told me.

Thing is, ZOS is not a sensible company.
