Just saying, in EU it doesn't matter what EULA you forced your users to agree in order to get into your product, if it's abusive, you'll get fkd up.

I'd even go further with GDPR compliance, I don't think ZOS is compliant.

If you want to make them unhappy and have some time and money and you're part of EU... you can.

    ESO+ already canceled.

Same here... If they want my loyalty than it needs to be deserved. As I am missing clear communication from them, I don’t see any clear direction or plan how they want to behave towards EU gamers, right now I feel like second class customer.
If I am not mistaken US players don’t have this kind of problems…

    this is just a joke...

How about just canceling eso+ and tell them that you only will resubscribe if they get their s***t together?

I am not an EU player but would like to take the time to ask for justifiable compensation for the EU playerbase. While the NA server has been irritating, EU server, from what I understand, has been unplayable. I think they deserve some compensation.

I'm paying eso plus and can't log in half the time and even if I could then still couldn't play because they somehow messed up orc passives so I need to wait untill that's fixed.

Than they should value you most, as you give them money in hope the situation will be better.

TOS does not super Eu Law and Local Law

Whilst I empathise with the situation and I myself am frustrated by it please don't spout waffle.

Uhm its true. A terms of service "agreement" is trumped by EU Law/Country Law. Hence why they can't give away crates in certain countries.

    Please don't spout waffle.

    can't argue with the logic.
the issue is not happening in America, also it is not just the Downtime but also the added Downtime when "Downloading a patch" or Hotfix. computers can be sat burning electric for hours on some connections just downloading

FYI - the server has been "working" this way for more than a week.

Hanging up a sign that says "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS" at an establishment does not make it so. That is essentially what a TOS agreement is to the electronic age.
I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

    BTW, I use arch too

    Totally agree with the OP.

Game performance on EU is appalling and - as I have said here many times before - communication from the ZoS is staggeringly awful.

I have better performance all around playing from the UK on the NA server. Utterly, utterly ridiculous.

Unless it's down for 72 hours in a row they wont give compensation. They might extend the Witches Festival to make up for the downtime but that'll probably be it.

I canceled my ESO+ a while back from Microsoft’s bs just cause I missed one payment and had to pay for another month- and pay to cancel it wtf- which I immediately canceled when it renewed.

So now I’m using my money on Fable 3 (yeah it’s an old game but the DLC’s are cheap (99 cents to about 5 dollars at most)) and other games I like

Edit: I’m an American player too

Performance should of been their main concern not these dumb nerfs every dlc.

What good is a game when you can't play it because of not being able to log on, frozen loading screens, getting kicked, bgs don't even bother

I'd like to say that I'm incredibly disappointed by the lack of clear communication from the ZOS Team on the state of affairs in regards to the EU servers, it's actually deafening silence. I'm not asking for compensation from ZOS or an extension of the event either, what I am asking for is a clear path being set and communicated with the community on:
    1. Why the EU servers are currently in the state they are
    2. Why the NA servers have, historically speaking, had significantly fewer issues
    3. What actions ZOS is going to take to improve the EU servers

It's clear they listen to the community, the problem has always boiled down to them not being good at communicating and informing us on their intentions with this title, that many of us have not only invested many hours into, but quite a lot of money, which has enabled them to have the careers they have, developing the game we all want in the first place.

When as a community we made our voices heard and did so consistently and for more than just a few moments (making it clear this isn't just "gamer outrage") in regards to the performance issues with the game, they finally opened up and not just presented us with a roadmap but acted on it.

We need to do the same in regards to the state of the EU servers, and ZOS should follow the same path as they did with opening up about the performance issues.
