Where do these witches festival gold recipes drop? -

Recipe: Bewitched Sugar Skulls (creates Bewitched Sugar Skulls)

Recipe: Disastrously Bloody Mara (creates Disastrously Bloody Mara

Recipe: Pack Leader's Bone Broth)(creates Pack Leader's Bone Broth)

    They're drops from skulls you obtain via killing bosses. They'll drop from normal plunder skulls

    Is it just me or is the drop rate low for a limited time event?

    The drop rate is low, but standard plunder skulls don't have a limit. This combined with the items being unbound means there should be enough out there for people to get a copy of each new recipe by the end of the event. I'd be more concerned about the writs and outfit styles which are much more limited (7 attempts per day per account). Still, even those are unbound so you can buy extras if needed. This provides a much needed monetary reward for players uninterested in using them or that may have extras.

    It's not just you. I cannot complete some of the writs because I need the recipes. After 6 hours of collecting Plunder Skulls, I've gotten exactly one. I am already irritated by this event and it's only day one. Buying them from guilds is not an option either, since I need my gold to buy the Exorcised Coven House. Also, it's really annoying that I can't do more than one writ at a time, or I would skip the ones I can't do yet and open others. Great event, Zos.

    I got exactly one writ today after playing literally all day long, and it's one of the writs that requires a rare new recipe.
    *Sighs*

    I'll be shocked if I'm able to get the witch title on even one character at this rate. For an event that's not very long, the drop rates need to be better.

    Hmm, I got 2 writs out of three skulls (2 Dremora, 1 plunder), and bought 6 more from the Ticket vendor. Of the six vendor-bought ones, one requires a new recipe.

    Yay, RNG? :|

    The drop rate is terrible. No one I know has gotten any of the new food recipes!!!

    Nah... You don't need to be concerned about the Outfit Styles and Writs…

    First: Today I received 3 Writs and 4 Style-Pages (4 different ones) from 7 Special Plunder Skulls, as well as 1 Treasure Map for the weapons... I would assume that the drop rate for those things isn't that bad… Therefore prices should drop fast, so that you can buy missing things from Guild Vendors…

    Second: As far as I know you are able to buy the Styles from the Event-Vendor with Tickets. With a total of 24 Tickets you can get during this Event, you should be able to buy missing Style-Pages ;) ...

    Third: You can also buy the *new* golden Recipes from the Event-Vendor for Tickets, in case those won't drop for you from the Plunder Skulls… FORGET THAT, I MADE A MISTAKE AND MIXED SOMETHING UP !!! BIG SORRY!!!

    Argh :s … I think I made a big mistake… Just checked and noticed that I mixed something up… You can only buy the following things from the Event-Vendor:
    • Snow Berries of Bloom
    • All four Indrik Feathers
    • Glenmoril Weapon Outfit Style pages
    • Glenmoril Armor Outfit Style pages
    • Skeleton Marionette memento
    • Apple Bobbing memento
    • Witches Festival Writ, Wrapped
    So, no recipes.!! Big SORRY, my mistake :cold_sweat: ..!

    I've got pack leaders and bewitched skulls once from 28 golden plunders. From violet plunders I got only trash and old recipes like bloody mara, crunchy spider etc. And I've got a lot of violets ~ 150. So imo not much point to farm non-gold skulls. Just got your 7 and pray for RNG. With extended event I'm sure prices for new recipes will be reasonable at the end of event.

    Weekend is over. Most player's time will be very limited even with extension (where is that information?).
    Sugar Skulls is selling 160-270k each.
    Please fix.

    Yes, you can. I have gotten Pack Leader Bone Broth twice now from regular purple plunder skulls.

    Yes, you can. I have gotten Pack Leader Bone Broth twice now from regular purple plunder skulls.

    I've opened a little over 50 with no gold recipes, I might spend a bit of time this week straight farming some. Any particularly good methods/locations I should consider?

    I camp the delve boss near the Alik'r dolmen. It can be killed every 3 minutes and drops purple plunder skulls. Otherwise I camp a dragon spawn point for Dremora drops.

    If you can blast through it, normal Maelstrom Arena is pretty quick for me. Takes me about 30 min and I get 9. Otherwise, maybe the Alik'r dolmens?

    Some of the Cyrodiil delves have three+ bosses with quick respawn rates. I've been able to just run loops through the delves in the past and have the bosses up each time I looped around. That may be something to consider. I wish I could remember the names of those delves...

    Divad's Chagrin Mine is the delve nearest the Myrkwasa Dolmen. The boss isn't a big deal even solo. He respawns every few minutes. I'm not into sitting there to do it over and over, I kill him for tickets and that's it; I just bought the recipes I didn't have - to get it over with.

    I like to tank (DD with a taunt) for Fungal Grotto 1. Its a very simple dungeon, the tank queue is near instant, and usually gets 5 skulls in less than 10 minutes.

    Healing worked fine, but I usually had to wait a minute or two for queue.
