Uh, no. The first time I ever did a trial was last witches festival. I had no idea that the normal trials in Craglorn were so easy. I had been intimidated for years until the event. Then I just started pugging them with ease.
Just do the easy trials.2 -

Skorro✭✭✭✭✭OP, dont be intimidated by trials especially the old craglorn ones. Try pick one up, especially in this event there'll be a bunch of PUGs running.
Most I've been in were similar to dung groups, very chill and quiet.
You could also go in zone and ask if anyone wants to join you for a first time run - you may even make some good friends

DirkRavenclaw✭✭✭✭Well, i remember last Year, most of my Guilds offered Trial Runs for under cp160er also in Craglorn, i, now at cp1045 on NA Server, then around 550 to 600 cp me thinks, was the highest in da Group. ✭✭I had no problem picking up Dremora chests and swords on XB NA towards the end of the event last year. I wouldn't say they were plentiful - certainly not nearly as many as, say, daggers or gloves, but they were available. I think I paid around 30K for each of them, so not as cheap as they got on PC.
I did nMA for the legs/bows. Definitely wasn't easy for me just being a casual quester, but I got through it three times since I got legs twice before getting bows.
I could have done a trial, but I just didn't want to bother with getting into a group with 11 other players. Just not my cup of tea. My decision, of course. And, I made enough selling the extra legs page and all my other duplicates to easily afford the two pages I needed.
If you don't want to do certain content for a certain reward, then you need to accept that you'll either have to buy it from someone else, if the item is tradable, or do without. We can't expect ZOS to only put rewards behind the content we want to play.0 -

Prices have little to do with addons. It's cheaper on PC because there are more players.
That makes no sense. We have a global search on PC thanks to TTC. If you can find the lowest priced item anywhere in the game, naturally prices will be lower as competition occurs across the entire server. Then you have the actual TTC add-on which gives you the average listing price for an item, and MM/ATT which give you the average selling price in your guilds. All of this information also leads to downard pressure on prices as players try to price competitively.Edited by MLGProPlayer on October 24, 2019 4:55PM3 -

Ask a friend for a free one, they don't cost much if I remember right, I think while everything else was like 300g, those two were only like 3k-ish?CP 1220

Incidentally, nMA does drop the Arena coffer. So you can get Bows and Legs that way. Also, those two tend to be the most expensive pages, because clearing arenas (even nMA) is actually harder than getting a Crag trial clear.
That said, Swords and Chests are right behind them.
