I'm currently doing 40k DPS parses with my magblade at cp573 I'm wondering what's the theoretical DPS cap when it comes to magblades? And how does magblade DPS compare to the best DPS class?

Lady_Linux✭✭✭✭✭I really don't know why people are obsessed with how much damage they can inflict on a dummy. Real world test with combat metrics addon should tell you what percentage of damage, healing, etc you are doing. In a 4 person dungeon, if you are consistently pulling 30-40% in a vet dlc dungeon for damage, that should be sufficient, providing you are actually working as a group and being successful in the dungeon as a group. If that's not good enough then nothing is. If you are doing 25% or less then perhaps you shout respec as a healer.Edited by Lady_Linux on October 21, 2019 12:43PMI simply must protest. I'm an elitist if I'm not sweating out world record DPS numbers I can't sleep at night.
On a serious note you're correct but it can't hurt to try to do as much DPS as possible.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭I can tell you that Liko was breaking 88k on the Iron Atronach last week on PTS (5.2.4). Magblade seems to be right in line with Magcro and double pet Magsorc. Magden is slightly behind, MagDK is a little ahead (as it should be because melee), and Magsorc without pets is a few k behind Magblade.Edited by WrathOfInnos on October 21, 2019 2:57PM0
