MagDK Mountains Blessing add minor sorcery?

This is intended as a discussion and would like to exercise it as such.
I feel with the damage nerf the magdk will take in the upcoming patch the above idea would definetly help...
Yes it has been buffed back up a little, but we are still going to hit less hard than in Elsweyr and regardless we will still feel this nerf greater than other classes .

Biased yes, but i felt damage in Scale breaker we were actually comparable to others in terms of overall damage(feel free to disagree).
I felt competitive with everyone and was nice to see the attrition style take faster effect.

The cost increases despite the changes to combustion are still lacking and will mean we need to invest more in to sustain and less into damage.
This means not only are our DOT's weaker, but so is our overall damage.

I feel considering this passive already grants minor brutality and stamina costs are far less anyway. it is only right to add this.
This is now always active for a stam player if they choose to use the spammable and let's be honest its looking mighty fine so why wouldn't you :lol:.

I also feel it would work nicely into our rotation given that in PVP we would try to immobilise during our attack i.e fossilize.

In PVE Molten armaments is utilised i believe? again correct me if i am wrong :lol:

    I understand that and perhaps I am being naive, but what is the harm in the DK having both?
    Would it make templar less appealing in PVE, again not really my field of expertise.

    I hear DD MagDK is an unpopular choice within a raid group?

    In PVP our damage is going to be visibly worse and we will not be able to sustain it without sacrifice.

    No. I want my stamplar to have minor brutality too, but that would be completely unfair. Each class has their specific group buff.

    It was just a thought whilst messing around with my build for the upcoming changes.
    I'm not entirely sure how much damage i'll actually have to give up...

    I guess we will see :smile:

    I do appreciate that this may upset A LOT of people though.
    I have zero use for minor brutality in my build, stamDK's, tanks and hybrids will be very upset though...

    Everybody's getting nerfed next patch. It looks like they want our damage to go down, and/or for us to rely more heavily on gear. They're not going to mitigate it if it's intended.

    I agree with you, but DK's still will do less damage than everyone else due to the fact we rely nearly solely on DOT's.

    Considering our DOT's will still be worst than they were 2 patches a go(and cost a lot more) and yet there is no change to anyone else's burst damage.

    I don't want to see any nerf's to any class as i feel at the moment to be on fairly even playing field to everyone else.
    I don't feel it will be the case during Dragonhold.

    I think an additional buff to our overall damage is warranted, not through minor sorcery perhaps via another passive.

    I completely agree with the majority of changes and your opinion.
    I have no doubt we will adapt I just don't want MagDK left behind.

    Fixed an issue where this passive was not applying to Dragonknight Standard or its morphs.
    Updated the tooltip to indicate it only increases the Damage over Time of the abilities listed, rather than all of their damage.


    so like they fixed the bug and by that they reduced overall damage by 10% plus our dots, however I agree about the combustion passive still lack, well for me I don't like it because you need to build for it with charge trait but still not enough sustain and you gonna lose more damage.

    I think they should give us another 10% through spell damage as some sort of passive. As we will probably lose another 10% adjusting our sustain.
