My "main" is a templar healer. It's my primary crafter, does all the zone stories, etc. Quests that don't grant a skill point or other desirable reward are only done on this character (i.e. For The Plot). It's a great character for going around soloing things.

I also have 9 other characters that I've made over time. For the moment, I seem to be tanking a lot, so I spend the most time on those two, and there's a moment when healing a trial or whatever that I have to remind myself not to try and tank! But I'm sure things will shift; change is inevitable. Maybe I'll actually get decent at DPS...maybe.

I just try not to worry about it. I know; all those big quest markers are in your face, NPCs call out to you, etc. But doing all that on one character is more than enough, at least for me.

Done most of that 9 times over, on different characters. It's pretty fun every time. I'm doing the 10th now, and I will do 2 more - the Necromancers - till the next chapter (~May 2020) for a total of 12, at least until they add the next class - personally I wish they didn't because they screw up combat each time they do that.

The first one has completed all content as far as Elsweyr (overland) and Scalebreaker (dungeons, veteran) and AR 34
8 more have completed as far as Summerset (overland) and Wrathstone (dungeons, veteran) and AR15-18
All are 9 trait crafters, the first knows all recipes, most motifs and blueprints in addition to that.

In addition to that I have 6 more auxiliary characters I use just as storage and crafting but they're 8-9 trait crafters as well - overall I have 9 traits on 12/18 for clothier & blacksmith, 14/18 for woodworking and 15/18 for jewelry crafting.
