I’ve only gotten vendor trash, the stuff you steal from desks and what not. Literally the stuff that only has one purpose, to be sold to npc vendor.

Pretty much getting the same loot I normally would while killing dragons. Nothing jaw dropping.

Update on the above - I’m making great inroads on these motifs. My crafter pulled a gold box from a water node - got a Pelletine Chest - awesome.

This event has already saved me about 100k+ off the cost of these motifs.

I have a Nightmother statue in my house where I pray for RNG - I can only strongly recommend this lol

Op im taking it you dont get that the event that starts 11/26 running to 12/8 is the good drop event this events more about doing pathfinder and killing dragons for charity to help sheltered pets so drops aint that big an deal here ive killed 200 dragons as of yet and 65% of them i never even looted why because im killing them for fun and charity best reason ive ever had in eso to do something imho

Killed one WB and seven dragons, got five boxes total. One had a backpack inside filled with the usual crap. The others had crafting materials and low-value "treasures." I was disappointed. I thought something cool and new might be in the boxes but it looks like that's a big fat nope.

I noticed, but the dragon wall'o'text names all look the same at first glance. Brain processes the clusterflaglomeration of vowels and consonants as "blablaflrargrbabla(some dragon with a lot of hit points)blarblah." Easy to slip one by the mental rubber stamp filter.

They are guaranteed, just like the Summerset event. It would be terrible PR to say "Ehhh, you guys failed, no top prize for you."

I've worked hard and gotten many boxes. I have found nothing but junk except one anequina chest motif and one shoulder motif and a purple crafty alfiq ring. Most is absolute garbage. I've gotten a nasal hook, I've gotten a few lorkhan's tears. I've gotten tons of green trash treasures to sell for 100g each. Stunning.

This has been the worst event I've been a part of. I'm terribly disappointed. Sometimes I have to kill 20 bosses or dragons to get one gold box, and then trash is in it. This happens a lot of the time. Just terrible.

The only reason I'm continuing to kill dragons is to help the charity effort. I guess that's how ZOS is stringing a lot of people along.

How rare are these things? I’ve spent hours and hours killing dragons, trash mobs and harvesting nodes and I’ve only gotten two boxes, both from first dragon of the day (one that awards event tickets).

OK, so having played the event quite a bit now... I find I have 3 attunable crafting stations to place in my houses... I find I have a huge mountain of treasure to place in my houses... I find I have a new target dummy for my houses... I dropped a mount (which I wont use)... and Ive dropped a full set of Alfiq, which I have chucked on one of my toons until he farms his bis... I guess, tentatively I have to say I am pretty happy with what I have personally got out of the event.

I mean none of it made me go OMG, WOW. The highlight is probably the treasure aesthetic lol.

I'm guessing we're talking about regular boxes here. I got Anequina helmets and swords motif pages. Pretty sweet considering I killed only 1-2 dragons a day.

What mount did you get?

Genuinely, as I sit here typing (at work, shhh), I have no memory of what mount it was, other than the fact I decided immediately that I wont be using it... fuzzy but it may have been a camel.

My very first strongbox gave me a plan for some axes... Forgot which one but it's nice I guess. Not gonna use them since none of my characters uses axes.
