    Actually I do have a good idea what PvP builds are going to be strong next patch from my testing and others. But that is a subject best left discussed privately on discord.

    If you’re looking for PvE you’ll have to look elsewhere for updates on parses.

    Can you confirm that not only does the stun not proc until the 6th cast, but that the target must not have CC immunity at the time of this 6th cast? However, if the target is CC immune during the 6th cast, the stacks will persist until the target is stunned? Also, does any stun whatsoever from any caster remove the stacks, or only a Stonefist stun?


    It requires 6 successful casts to stun barring CC immunity. Yes, the stacks do persist. For your last question the stacks can be removed by another DK(from the tool tip) if they can land the 6th cast. I cannot confirm if it works that way since I only dueled on PTS.

    Do other stuns, Reverb Bash, Fossilize, etc., cleanse the stacks? I assume strictly a successful 6th Stonefist cleanses the stacks?

    I only use Obsidian Shard mainly just to be annoying in BGs/Cyro by hitting an opponent distracted by my closer ranged allies attacks. I know people were asking for a stam whip, but on some level I can understand why they chose Stonefist to use instead. However, Stonefist was never used because it was a powerful damaging skill. Turning what is basically a utility skill into a class spammable attack just doesn't work, especially since I find it so clunky to use.

    as has been mentioned, you get 990 stam back every time you cast the skill, effectively making the cost 14k, which is about average for a spammable attack, between 2,700 and 2,100.

    Magplar/ mag warden/ mag sorc with current notes.

    Best stamina would be stam templar/ stam warden.

    But overall mag is far better than stam.

    Good idea but they need to make it longer range if its going to be useful, and too bad for my magdk is loosing its ranged stun on his heavy atack build, so the build is not going to work anymore...
