Did't notice that ESO had so low twitch viewers (2.5k vs 66k wow has).

I can tell you more: ESO doesn't have 13 or 10 mlns of players as ZOS always present. Playerbase is around 20-30k which is...sad but not a surprise seeing what this game becomes.

The figure ZOS gives for sales and implying it is actual players is BS, but then so is your 20-30k figure. Steam alone has figures for 23k peak players online this month, so the actual playerbase is way higher than that. It is normally measured in active players per month, last time I remember that figure was released by ZOS it was something like 1.75 million.

yeah but you can't make money on twitch on ESO, at least not at the same level if you were streaming wow.
this could be bad for twitch streamers.

TBH I don't understand ppl who look at streamer playing mmorpg.
I mean, their is literally nothing to see.

Even for pvp I wouldn't look at a game like wow or eso.

I love looking at strategy game or fps because it can be very impressive and I don't even play these game.
But for mmorpg, what is impressive to see ? Dodge roll an aoe ? Block ? smashing mouse button to weave ?
DN pvp was probably the only one I enjoyed to watch cuz it was very skilled and dynamic.

True. You will hit a ceiling when it comes to views, judging by people who have been streaming waaaay longer than me it becomes stagnate in terms of growing and earning money streaming it full time - unless you can coordinate with another popular content creator and have your channel embed on their own popular site so anybody on that site counts as a viewer on twitch and makes you look super popular which will drawn in more people in your stream because you are number 1 in the directory making everybody with real viewers look not as enticing because the streamer in the number 1 spot had 2.5k views and people below him are at the low hundreds or double digits so you have this preconceived notion that these other guys must suck because they are no where near as close to the other guy.

WoW PvP sucks to watch imo. ESO, despite its bugs, is a lot of fun to watch.

Lot of people watch WOW because the streamer can provide entertainment or at least nice back ground noise while you do something. Like playing videos in the background while they..do whatever they do. Or talk about current events. Lots of people dont even watch WOW streamers for gameplay but rather because the streamer themselves make it worth while having it on and at least listening.

there is also tournament in twitch, where ESO didn't make any tournament at all imo.
Last night i was watching wow pvp tournament, very entertaining as you see all good move and bad decisions.
ESO fight is too trashy as you don't even know what skill was used thanks to animation cancelling bug.

Momma warned me to never talk to trolls, but @Delparis brings up a good point ZOS could do better, if a game is good enough then it will self advertise (High volume of twitch views/streamers, youtubers that don't leave). There is something ZOS ain't getting right and it shows :'(

WoW usually has less than a quarter that viewership, it's only because classic just dropped.

Also WoW has been around for much much longer.

well, he contributed, along with many others. Is he the number 1 streamer on twitch? (no sarcasm I don't watch twitch so I don't know)

I think he was considered one of the biggest streamers Twitch ever had (something like 20 million followers and several hunndred thousand views per stream.) before he moved to Mixer, Twitch's rival. Now he's pretty much living life like a rock star.

Guild Wars 2 has even less viewers.

Final Fantasy, Runesape and WoW are often the biggest viewed mmorpg games on twitch.

If ESO didn't have twitch drops on this weekend, it would be less. The only thing giving it views is twitch drops and embedded streams on twitch partnered websites padding the number of viewers.

So... When you're not doing a Nerf thread, it's a "this game sucks" thread. Answer honestly.. Do you even play this game? Why you keep being so negative and trying to ruin it in every way possible?

Also, comparing a game that just released (regular wow isn't that big at all anymore) to a 5 year old game on twitch is just unreasonable. Release hype is a real real thing.

    You make no sense.

Not a bug. And again... If you think this game is so bad, go away. Spare us from your constant negativity. :/ Damn, kid... Seriously. People will like you more if you're not that negative all the time.
