Sorry for the thread necro, but this is important. I want to be able to hide helm on the shadowsilk gem. It was already possible until they changed it. And you can even change the goblins hair, facial hair, major and minor adornments, and marking. Might as well let us hide its helm too. This goes for all the disguises. Give us options.
I hate going into a crafting station and being reminded that I have a rad goblin head and then having to walk around all covered up.

They need to make Goblin a normal polymorph instead of an appearance item. They did it with the Skeleton appearance item years ago.

Same with all the costumes you find during quests. Make them rewards at the end of the quest instead of having to keep disguises around.
