Steam PTS on different drive?

I tried installing the PTS client the usual way a couple days ago, but apparently the 124GB I have available on my SSD are not enough, since my drive was filled to the brink before the download finished. I tried following the guides I found online for installing PTS on a separate drive, but it doesn't work, because as someone who bought ESO on Steam I cannot just download the launcher from the ESO account page (even though I'm one of those lucky people who bought the game on Steam so long ago that I can still log in via the ESO account when there are issues with Steam).

So hence the question: how can I install PTS on a separate drive as a Steam user?

As far as i know Steam won't allow for individual games to be installed outside of the Steam folder.

i have steam games installed on 2 different drives. the second is back up of games and games i play less often to save drive space. i just made a folder in the second drive document folder called steamlibrary/steamapps and on the download section of settings you can direct the downloader where to install copies of the game u are downloading next. You would probably have to have the original eso on the second drive and launch it from there to dl the pts to it.

All you have to do is create a folder somewhere, make it a Steam Library, then you can point any Steam install to that Library.

Just don't try to do any of these while Steam is doing its daily or twice daily update.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I already do it the way @Sennecca does. But when the game is already installed, I can't choose a different folder for the PTS.

@SirAndy It can be done with a symbolic link.
@Nestor You can't have the same game installed twice in two different drives even with multiple steam libraries.

    1) Make the folder in the location where you want to install it if it does not already exist. For e.g "F:\Games"
    2) Go to your Steam Library -> common -> Zenimax Online. Copy the "Launcher" folder to the folder you want for installation
    3) Run "Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe" and install PTS
    4) Delete the duplicate "Launcher" folder.
    5) Open Command Prompt (Win key+R -> type cmd). Type in mklink /D "LINK TO STEAM LIBRARY\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS" "YOUR CHOSEN FOLDER LOCATION\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS"

In my case, for e.g:- mklink /D " E:\Steam Games\SteamApps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS" "F:\Games\The Elder Scrolls Online PTS"

    And you are done.

Sorry for necroing an old thread, but I was trying the above... I have managed to link the PTS on my HDD drive to my launcher, but it won't load. It starts to load but stops responding. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I assume it is where steam uses your steam credentials to log you in.

I normally just use the PTS on my old laptop, but wanted to try get it on my new one. Unfortunately my ssd is too small to accommodate both versions of the game.
