Live vs PTS performance.

It's a bit soon, and let's say the population isn't really comparable between live and PTS, but, for me at least, the game feels noticeably smoother on PTS than on live, which is a first for me. I got a noticeable increase in fps and fluidity. My laptop isn't getting younger and I usually run under 40 fps and got up to 75 on PTS.

So, tell me, did you notice a difference in performance between Live and PTS?
PC - EU - France - AD
Main character: Qojikrin - Khajiit Sorcerer Tank/Stamina DD - since March 25, 2015.
Guildmaster of Oriflamme: Focus on 4 player endgame content.
Member of Brave Cat Trade, Panda Division and Toadhuggers.

All 4-man trifectas - TTT, IR, GH

    I get 300 ping on Live, I got 500 on PTS. Does that count?

    Nothing unusual here :p

    For me Live is EU, and PTS is NA. So, not able to make a meaningful comparison.

    Same. But still. The game ran better on PTS than Live, I just had 100-200 ping but didn't really felt it.

    On live I have low fps and sometimes my display isn't smooth, I mean, my screen periodically stop moving for an instant.

    Noticeable improvements for me on PTS esp when messing with usersettings (mipmaploadlevels and view distance).

    PTS have different graphics options, you have less add-ons must probably, so you can't compare if you are not using exactly the same setup. But lag. omg, PTS lags so hard maybe overloaded too.

    Isnt it somewhat useless to compare PTS Performance to live Performance since PTS will never be even remotely close to the strain live Server gets?

    As I pointed out, it's inaccurate, indeed, but, it used to be very rare for me and some guild members to do a 21M parse without something going wrong. Even without the same strain PTS was just worse than Live at all time. It's maybe different in NA, but for EU at least it seemed consistent.

    My addon folder is copy-pasted from live, and the same are active. Graphic options are roughly the same. And, well, usually I have lag spikes on the PTS but it felt okay this week, it was very stable.

    Hate to say this but this morning, I had worse ping and lag on the PTS than I normally do in Cyrodiil on live during prime time. The only difference is that I didn't crash to desktop on the PTS. So I think things are going backwards.
