So this is strange. I have both a Mac and a Windows Desktop. I can access the building's wireless, or I can use my private wireless router plugged into the building's network.

I can access these forums fine when I use the building's network but if I go through my router I get prompted for username / password, which doesn't accept my account information.

I've tried disabling the firewall on the router, no effect. All other router settings are standard. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd prefer to go through my router to connect to the internet.
