PTS Update 24 - Feedback Thread for the Undaunted Celebration

This is the official feedback thread for the Undaunted Celebration event. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:

Did you participate in testing this event? If so, did you run into any issues?
Did you understand how to get your rewards?
Did you use the updated Dungeon Finder? If so, any bugs or issues?
Did you notice the new items on the Undaunted vendors and the Impresario?
Do you have any other general feedback?

The rewards for this event seem really lacklustre. The original Monster set weapons and even helms look much better than the cheap "opaline" glow you just smacked on them. Maybe it's a sign that you need to slow down with all the constant events that all seem to have some kind of "unique" reward, some of it is starting to look really rushed and cheap, all these reskins in more and more gaudy and neon like colors. I for one am not going to bother collecting any "opaline" weapons of armor sets, I'll get some tickets for the Indriks and other ticket-bought rewards, but I think this marks a time where I'm done grinding events for rewards just for the sake of it, since I know very well I'll never actually use any of these motif pages ever.

The motifs look a bit silly, like a khajiit on skooma made them that color. If the colors were dyeable theyd be more desirable

Getting really really tired of all the tacky, flashy, gaudy stuff. The one thing I miss about vanilla ESO days is flashy items being special and not ubiquitous. Not just because I don't enjoy ESO being a constant rave party, but also because people who like the down-to-earth stuff seem to be less and less of a target group sometimes.

And in general, the last couple of small events like this did barely anything to entice me into participating. I already do vMA, dungeons, trials whathaveyou regardless. This is nothing special imho.

Did you participate in testing this event? If so, did you run into any issues?

I read the in-game Help to make sure I didn't have to get a pledge or use the group finder. Then I entered Fungal Grotto I by walking in the front door. I killed the Dreugh King. I didn't receive any of the event rewards, and no event tickets.

This weapons and armors looks like you apply a bump map on it, but you forgot to add the texture...

To be totaly honest, I prefered what you did during the Elsweyr PTS, ie be able to have the firts weapons monster sets that gone out : Ilambris, Molag Kena, Shadowrend and Grothdarr.
Everyone wasn't able to have them and they are part of the most beautiful weapons monster sets and I'm sure many people would like to have them.
Maybe at least, put them again in the crown store if you don't want people have the nice version for free, but noone will use the opal version apart from people who loves make the ugliest character possible or just wants to collect everything in the game.

Event merchant's assistant Philius Dormier message was confusing:

Me: "Tell Me about the Undaunted Celebration"
Me: "How do I participate?"
Him: "Visit any Undaunted Enclave in the Capital City of each alliance . That is Davon's Watch, Daggerfall and Vulkhel Guard. Do their tasks to increase your standing in their organization plus gain commensurate rewards"

Should that be Stormhaven, Mournhold and Eldenroot?
