So how long will it take until you guys realise that you won't make the game more enjoyable by only nerfing stuff? Soon every class will be equally weak and boring instead of strong and unique. #Balance
I used to think that PvP was a tragedy, but now I realize, it's a comedy.

    Good thing I didn't adapted much for U23 because I knew everything will be inside out in U24.

    Bad thing that those changes doesn't look like consistent or balanced. Well, maybe PTS will fix some numbers, but to nerf all dots so hard, idk what is reasoning behind this. I mean they required a slight nerf, or maybe spammables required a small buff... but to be nerfed in half lol. And aoe dots nerfed both in cost and damage :D

    Everyone will leave this garbage game, because devs can't just listen to feedback and make adjustments.. They just nerf everything without thinking.

    Nerfs are easier for the Devs than remaking old PVE content to account for power creep.

    OMFG , Like WTF ZOS? You literally just nerfed everything, even stuff that was already f***ing nerfed hard, you nerfed even more this time. Seriously, already said people are tired of f***ing having to totally revamp every f***ing build every time. Whelp, I can't get my money back but I assure you, you've gotten the last dollar out of me. Not giving you more money until you stop completely trashing peoples builds every three month. No other f***ing game does this to their players. Don't worry though I'll still make sure to log in even if I just stand there and do nothing. That way I'm costing you money and resources while you get nothing in return

    Yes it's easier and pure poison to the game. They manage to kill the hype for every xpac and dlc with these ridiculous combat changes.

    I dont understand this complete nerf to all dots. For me it seemed that it wasnt dots damage that was the problem except for the addition of two really strong non class based dots -entropy and soul trap.

    Weapon and class dots were okay since most classes couldnt stack too many....apart form the old dot/bleed builds stam sorc and stam dk. These classes could put alot of pressure but had to trade off elsewhere. The addition of powerful readily available dots tipped the balance.

    Instead of modifying soul trap and entropy.......how about just testing a 60% nerf to them? Devs have halved dot damage and increased the cost........so classes that rely on DOTs...what do they do now?

    No idea at balance.......a complete reversal of a previous patch.....no idea....do you even test stuff? do you even play?........

    It's not the idea of nerfing that bothers me. I understand adjustments can be necessary.

    The problem with this game has always been how chaotic its development path is. It seems to be worse and more whimsical over the past year. I've never played a game with so many regular upheavals in the form of major adjustments every few months.

    Outside of all other issues, they show players no respect by whimsically changing class and racial identities that players have built characters around for more than five years.

    My guess is that they make so much money off the Crown Store that combat design gets no real corporate oversight, so the gameplay devs are allowed to act like hyperactive children in a nuclear power plant control room, pulling levers and flipping switches to see what happens without consideration for the consequences.

    Nerfing would be ok if there were some buffs to compensate. This is just taking a chainsaw to dps increasing the relative difficulty of all pve content. I do understand that dots were overperforming in pvp. I get that. To reduce pve damage so drastically all in one shot is a demoralizing hit to the playerbase. ZOS said at least twice in the stream that their internal groups were still able to beat the content. At least for me, it's not about still being able to do it. It's more difficult (even if some players won't notice it in some content). I don't play (and pay) to regress. I can handle nerfs if there are buffs that I can adjust to and play with. This update has practically nothing. It's just a cut to dps.
