On top of that you killed DK too / both stamina and magick.
Good job. Casuals will be hapy. No one will dizzy swings them to death anymore :D

    As a casual, not really too happy abot it. So... why would i be happy about that they made my stamsorc and Stamplar even more boring?

    Saw another increase of ability costs and reduction of effectiveness. How could volly be further nerfed? Well, Zos found a way.

    its my 20+ y off mmos, maybe thats why i see the things you are blind of.
    To check what ? how much time will take me to spam FIVE fists in a roll to get 3 sec stun?
    Or to see how less dmg my (only dot viable) DK will do ?
    I already know- 60%.
    Or to test how dizzy swings instead of stun give 7 sec off blalance?
    Or to test how OP is the new changes to ALREADY OP perma frost?

    One question ZoS.
    Put pvp aside, BUT do you even think about how this changes will afect casual PvE ?
    Lets be honest/ the main sorce of casual pve players dmg comes from dots, the randoms you get in your RND que. Its already hard to compleate (NORMAL) DLC dungeons with such players, and now after the 60% nerf on the dots will be nearly imposible/and we speak about normal DLC dungeons here.
    I dont know whats the point behind all this chnages, and i hope my intuition is wrong this time.

    But magplars have a gapcloser, cc and offbalance all in one that does decent damage with burning light proc...

    Yes, think is time mag builds to have their fun.
    Stil too hard hit to stamina. Even with stun was hard to pin down good mag sorc or NB, now it wont be possible.

    You do realise the CC changes were well overdue by 5 years mate?

    They put a stop on NB/DK macro cancers, where with 2 buttons could stun/immobilize and drain all the stamina of someone, making him a sitting duck stunned and immovable until his/her death.

    I'm thinking about suing for damages because the whiplash caused by these changes. (This is sarcasm... that shouldn't need an explanation, but someone will take it seriously, so here we are.)

    Nerf snipe...now we buff snipe.
    Buff DoTs...now we nerf DoTs.
    Buff Bleeds...now we nerf bleeds.
    Buff Dizzy swing...now we nerf dizzy swing.
    Nerf Surge..now we buff surge.

    Oh, and make everything cost more and do way less damage.

    All within a single patch cycle.

    Said it many times, and I'll say it another.
    Change just for the sake of change isn't good. These whiplash changes don't show a vision, it shows you're cluelessly throwing things at a wall hoping something sticks.

    It's not a good look...

    Edit: actually I did kill someone with dizzy swing on a stam Sorc today. They were afk at a transitus shrine in a keep but I killed them.

    Dont even know why you put NB here? Because of d/ swings? What about stam wrd d/swings then?
    Is not my foult that you go with 9k stam in PvP. So NB/DK cc drain your stam, but magica CC is free to break? Because i dont see any mag CC removed. Just POINTLESS dmg reduce on pets, which already do no dmg ...
    And keep in mind, nerfing skills, wont improve your skill lvl in pvp. So chill the joy alittle and dont try to troll.

    The blade cloak change was my favorite.

    Instead of nerfing BRP DW, they increased the cost so no melee mag users could actually use it, make it also harder to keep up on a heavy armor build, and ultimately put a stam skill in the realm of mag costs :D

    Yet again, balance through nerfing skills instead of sets...we see the results!

    People warned ZoS about how supremely OP DoT's were last PTS basically from the beginning, and look what happened, they got to live unscathed!

    You're kidding yourself if you think major changes happen regularly on the PTS. The only time major changes happen is if the community QQ's enough. See shield cast times being reverted because the entire Sorc community unloaded mountains of salt (understandably) on the forums.

    Unfortunately, this kind of QQ only happens for 1 or 2 things a PTS cycle, and, more importantly, the community is just too tired of the nerfs to QQ that loudly anymore.

    Looks like this is the way ZoS have found to fix bugs. If something is not working properly then just remove it. Can't fix break free from knockbaks ? Remove the knockbacks. That's brilliant. That way we can be sure they'll "fix" all the bugs :D

    There's a famous 1vXer named Kristofer who does this ALL THE TIME. He even explains how to do it in his videos. You don't have to do a "full" heavy attack, either, a medium attack is fine. Also, all you have to do is roll dodge to set people off balance if you have the right CP passive.

    Dizzy Swing change is the worst change for me in this patch, instead of knock back now it has off balance its like a joke, yeah i can dizzy heavy attack a newbie player but i doubt that any experienced player will stand still and watch the heavy attack coming. Also it is completely useless in 1vX, off balance looks good on paper you can cc right before you do your burst but it wont work in a real situation nobody will stand still and get hit by a 2h heavy attack.

    Also the stonefist change is completely stupid am i suppose to spend 20k stamina to stun someone, you can just use a immovable pot on 4th stack.

    I really wonder if the game devs really know how this game works.

    Even medium attack add 1.5 seconds and almost no dmg to your execute rotation. Kris do it with the right set and build/ and there are max 2 variations of it. Do we all need to run same 1 set/2 builds to be "meta" viable ? I`m sure most of the mid lvl pvpers can make a video where they wreck 810 cp pvers in Cyro only spaming heavy attacks. Do this make heavy attack spam style viable agains decent pvp players ? Stuned player cant block. Now first we need to land 1 second "cast" d/swing followed by 1.5 sec medium attack, to get stun. About roll dodge putting ppl off balance. Yes is neat, and its a great addition to roll dodge bulds, because is literaly free. Wana see you roll dodging in heavy armor :D
    Whatever we say, ZoS screw it hard.
    Good thing is, they stil have time to revert it.

    My heavy and light attacks miss all the time in Cyrodiil. Dude standing right in front of me. If that’s the kind of combat they want, I’ll pass.

    Well, Zenimax it’s been a good ride. You’ve officially lost me on these changes.

    It seems they want every class to have a “stack 5 of them type of skills” so they made it a damage spammable with a weird function
