Dungeon Treasure Chests – Based on feedback, we are changing treasure chests in instanced dungeons so that everyone gets a piece of loot regardless of who opens the chest. This change is currently being implemented and tested internally and will be released in a future patch as soon as it’s ready. Watch the patch notes for the news.

    awesome, no longer having to try and dps bosses down when a random pug goes legging it to loot all the chests while we are too busy trying to survive

    This is great! There is nothing more annoying then "That guy..." or those couple of guys trying to outrun each other to the chests.

    We had a guy yesterday that felt it was necessary to get the chests while the other 3 of us were fighting a group of mobs, and we were doing fine until he pulled a couple of pathers while he was opening the lock, which in turn aggro'd another group.

    We survived, but everyone was ticked off. Needless to say he bailed out of the group and left us hanging on one of the boss fights we were having difficulty with. I'm still trying to decide if that waste of internet coding did me a favor in saving more lost time in that dungeon...
